Everyone has a maximum of 12 stickers that will count towards their team, and if they take one from someone else, it has the potential from stealing a sticker point from either another team (3/4 chance) or their own team (1/4 chance) because since they either have maxed out their own and can't count anymore OR have diminished someone elses count, stolen stickers can't count for points but CAN help your team gain points (though there's a chance that it can hurt).
