in the midst of murder event drama, i bring to you a psa for every and anyone involved - and anyone who would like to be involved with:

✧the law enforcement unit✧

as some of you may or may not be aware, the LEU was created some time this year? last year? (WHO KNOWS) by hijikata here & other characters with a police background (though to be fair, anything law related: heroes, forensics, detectives, consultants, etc) to have a character-made police institution that wasn't controlled by the landlord's people(?). there is information on it as a job on the locations' post, but i've also gone ahead and attempted to make a post for everyone involved to be- well, involved.

(the landlord's police is still a thing that exists, and the player-made police unit has to allow for the landlord to have final say on stuff. but we can put ppl in jail for x number of days (with player consent of course) for stealing or give them time out for petty crimes......yes)

you can find said entry here in hijikata's journal (and the usual disclaimer - he ain't the leader, but it's nice to have it all in one place!). i dropped the ball on keeping up with this at some point, but now i've found enough time to work on it. and after the first time the post went up, trial and error, i think i've sorted a system to make this character-friendly so that everyone can participate.

1) you sign up your character here! decided to re-do the old list (and i haven't even looked at who has been dropped since!), so please fill it out and sorry for the deja vu? the information to fill in has been changed, though the old forms are still up in case anyone wishes to simply c/p the relevant information. c:

2) once you've done that, reply to this thread. what this does is allow me to put your character up on the main post's roster and include a link to their "direct line/email" for whenever someone files a complaint.

i've also put up an 'archives' and 'locations' thread. have a look at the entire post to see what you can do with those.

3) questions and suggestions, because idk how often ~reminder posts~ like these would go up. and i'm not always super clear woops - ON THE SUGGESTIONS, you can also suggest a new office space relating to your character joining the force and if the place lacks somewhere for them!

FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO MAKE USE OF THE LEU as civilians "HERE'S HOW IT WORKS! choose a character, click on their ✉, and do your 911 call/complaint email under their thread." that way we can avoid needing people to track the post/thread and maybe having the 2-3 same people responding to complaints.
