+1 crazy blind bastard on the loose
Hi, everyone. I am Madb and I am brand shiny new and really happy to be here. I am bringing in Jacob, from the independent film "Ink" - not to be confused with Inkheart. Both are great films, but one of them is significantly weirder than the other.
As my post title says, Jacob is blind. He's also a bastard, but he's not actually crazy he just calls himself that before going on a (blind) run through the city. The thing about Jacob's bastard side is that he uses it very deliberately; he's the "wise man" in the film, and also the comic relief. Teaching is what's important to him, although it's going to take him a while to get used to not hearing the beat of the world and being alive again. He's been dead a very long time and a very short time and is pretty used to it. (It's a very weird film.)
ALSO and really importantly: Jacob is a bastard, I am not. If anything he does starts to get annoying please please please let me know and I will dial it back because I won't have fun if you aren't having fun.
Here is his first appearance in the film and this is what he did back when he had powers. Sort of. It didn't always end that way.
