+1 CIRCUS MINI EVENT. OOC INFO FOR IT WITHIN.
As some of you may or may not know (which, if you don't I suggest you look at this embarrassing post from Yogi ) Yogi will be hosting a Karneval Carnival! Now while it's sure to be fun I do need some OOC cooperation to try and make this fun and enjoyable for as many people as possible! My apologies for having this up so late! Due to it being summer I totally lost track of days and didn't remember till last minute my dads birthday was on the 8th so my last day and a half was spent scrambling around. Though now for all of the details!
Due to the large influx of characters, and the positive reception this idea has gotten -- I'll be pushing the mini event / Carnival to next Thursday, August 15th! This way everyone who's just gotten in can settle and hopefully participate. And I can make a comprehensive list of all employees and their duties by then so people can know what's going on. The log will be going up Thursday at 6pm CST. While it's going up in the evening my time, the event will be starting in the morning at 9am and last all day! Earlier if your character is on staff or wants to help set up.
While I understand many people want to have their characters setting up their own booths, there will be a limit of ten booths and five performances for this first Carnival. There will be two separate threads in this post so you can reply to them to sign your character up. If they haven't already asked Yogi in his post, we can just hand wave it. Your character is free to do anything they'd like so long as it doesn't involve you know, throwing babies into a pit of fire or anything.
Your character can have their booth open for as long or as little as they'd like. This way there isn't too much off balance when it comes to other people replying to different "booths". Performers will be at the Carnival all day, but naturally they'll be able to have breaks.
However! Say your character really wants to sell donuts, but all the spaces have already been filled up! If you see a person whose character is selling hotdogs, you can ask them if your characters can partner up so they can sell at the same booth. Same goes for performances, if all the spots are taken up but you think a particular character would add some ~dazzle~ to anthers, just ask the player!
If all goes well, I'll make another Carnival log in the future! With more chances for more characters to have booths and maybe even other ideas if it sparks me.
