TIME TO SCAVENGE
Hmmm I wonder what these titles could be implying...

➜ The glittertext doesn't lie.

➜ For this scavenger hunt you'll already know the items you'll be collecting: four different marked keys, colour coded in the tradition. The thing you'll have to figure out is where the keys are hidden. There will be one key in each district.

➜ In order to make things a little easier and to stop you all from just wandering aimlessly, a list of four riddles will be afforded to everyone, describing a location in which the keys are hidden, as well as the color you're looking for in this area/place.

➜ In the middle of the town square in the housing district is a new feature: a dias about four feet tall with four slots in the top. These are for the four keys that you'll be tasked to find. Upon putting all four in the dias, a large compartment will open up revealing your prize for finding all four keys and thusly solving your four riddles. The prize basket will be as follows:
➜ A receipt for $2000
➜ A small but empty book with Landlord's Notes inscribed on the front.
➜ Another special regain pass (though this one only gives restricted regains; no non-humanoid parts and etc.)
➜ Depending on your own personal taste, a luxury cologne or perfume set.
➜ A special food pass. This means that all food purchases from the date of retrieval to December 31st will be free of charge. This excludes personally owned restaurants and only includes grocery and food shops that are not player owned.

➜ Now I know what you're thinking. I have a character who may not be able to figure out these riddles! That's why you can scavenge in teams! The biggest a team can be is four people. Of course, though, teams can team up, and teams aren't exactly static. But an official team must be 4 people or less. This is to help less social characters, characters lacking in logic, and also to have fun with friends!

➜ However many people are on your team, that's how many prizes will be in the compartment.

➜ Teams will be determined by sign up. This thread below will be team sign ups. Simply fill out the form with your team members. These can be edited at any time, but try to get a sizable team going before commenting (ie don't comment with a team of just you and edit it three times for my sanity). Teams will have names and teams that figure out all four riddles and retrieve the prize will be announced on the network.

➜ And what about those riddles? Those will be posted on that log. And how will you know if you're right? There will be a screened post stickied to the OOC community. When you and your teammates think you've discovered the answers to the riddles, comment with them there and you'll be told whether you're right or not. Don't worry, the riddles won't be too difficult. Plus, a few times during the event, more hints will be given to you OOCly regarding the riddle answers.

➜ Now while I can't police and completely watch what goes on on Plurk, AIM, etc, I will request that you only share confirmed answers with your teammates. Giving hints yourself to other players is fine, but half the fun is trying to figure the riddles out on your own and amongst your team! ICly though, hints can be given to anyone at any time! And while no one can truly police IC answer sharing, there is a clause on the letter characters will receive in regards to this event saying that if you do, your prize will be negated. And possibly turned into a beehive.

➜ A note: teams aren't assigned by the landlord. Teams will have to be formed ICly. Also, if you are on a team, please try to be active within your team. It's not fair to join a team, do nothing, and then have your character get a prize that you/they didn't work to get.

➜ Regarding my participation, I'll put myself on hiatus for the event. This is to remove myself from participating, which I couldn't really do so OOCly and thus be a burden to my team. Please do not expect me to give you answers, and no one will be informed of any on my plurk or via AIM. My lips are sealed!

➜ A log and plotting post will be posted for this event. When will this happen? Check the calendar! It'll be on the 18th at 12 PM CST. As always, questions can be put here! it's not an hh post without me forgetting something or putting in a few typos
