Sup, Holly Heights!

Time to raise up the counter for fresh meat by another one! My name’s Picaro and I’m bringing you Rei Shingetsu from that show about clueless aliens and card games aka. Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. Rei is a cheerful mix between a human hurricane and a clumsy puppy, sucks at card games and has the incredibly talent to always mean well and unwittingly cause all kinds of chaos with it. (Spoiler: This has totally nothing to do with him secretly being a rock alien cop who went undercover as a 13 years old school boy in order to catch some bad guys or that there’s tons of history between ‘Rei’ and a certain lunatic called Vector that he’ll refuse to talk about.)

He'll be staying at 1472 all on his own for now.

Just don't fall over Yuma anytime soon.

[Regardless if Rei doesn't want to think about it, Vector's going to sporting a few dents in his head at the end of the day. And make that a herd of angry boyfriends and one girlfriend, thank you very much. Knowing the show, everyone wants in Yuma's pants. It's part of the deal.]

I'll try not to? I'm still baffled at how suddenly everybody's here...

[There's a tentative plea for explanations in that trailing off, together with a soul-felt exhale and an awkward gesture.] To be honest, the last thing I remember was us running from that guy, Gilag, and everybody being strange while having those weird marks on their foreheads. It's for the best that everybody's unharmed, but now everybody's mad at *me* all of a sudden and I don't know why.

[...Oh, so he's playing the Rei card, and is intent on playing it to the fullest. In all honesty, she just wants to deck him like she said to Alit that she would and while Yuma knows about Vector, Astral doesn't. So what should she do - just play along?]

We were brought here by a man who calls himself the Landlord. We're all from different times, some from good times and, well, some from bad times. [And the word bad is being directed towards Rei although Kotori's sporting a smile, looking as sweet as always; maybe playing isn't, how you say, for the best.] Oh, they are? Then go ahead and drop the act, Vector. Mostly everyone from our world knows about you.

[If she thinks that this is the bestworst he can do she's in for a roller-coaster of surprises later on. (Or so he likes to think.)]

Oh. [She gets a blink in return, because he's not sure what to make out of that yet and Rei always takes everything for the best while Vector always takes things for the worst. Then he starts looking over his shoulder as if to check of somebody's snuck up behind him for a moment before he flinches and looks back at her.] ...-me? You mean me with that name?

[Kotori sighs at that, knowing full well that she should've expected him to keep up his charade. And honestly, the more she just stands here in his presence makes her more and more put-off - and the playing dumb, naive little act, is nothing more than an insult to her and her friends, even if a few of them haven't experienced what Rei does to them. But if she presses, he might keep faking it or she might get hurt and to make matters worse, she's not a duelist and she cannot and will not drag the others into it if she does get in trouble.

It's a rock and a hard place type of situation, and boy, does she hate it.]
