Holly Heights vs. Villiers: THE TRIAL [middle plotting stage] + impending hiatus/slowatus
Two things.
First, to all the newfolk, welcome (belated but anyway)! I'm Auste and I play Miles Edgeworth (Ace Attorney) and Hisami Hishiishii (R.O.D the TV). And I have two exams in the next two weeks which means tags will be slowing down again. I won't call a hiatus because I will pop in during study breaks to fire a few tags and I already have AC for both my losers.
Second, remember this post? Well, I have a better outline of how things will go down this time for the trial, and I have a final date. The trial will be held on Jan. 30 in-game and won't be posted till Jan. 31, GMT +8 (so technically it'll still be Jan. 30 for some of you hahaha oh well). To keep from repeating myself, if you're wondering what in the name of frills I'm doing, just click the link for the sparknotes version of what went on that brought Snow Villiers to the Court of Justice. Short story even shorter: he was involved in a murder mystery and all the clues pointed to him and even the victims claim to have seen a guy fitting his description during their last moments.
OH NOW THAT WE HAVE A LAW FIRM AND A COURT OMG THINK OF ALL THE TRIALS SHENANIGANS AND POSSIBLE PERMUTATIONS OF ATTORNEY BATTLES (I'm personally hoping for Edgeworth vs. Edgeworth).
CAST OF CHARACTERS:
- Snow Villiers (accused)
- Apollo Justice (defense)
- Miles Edgeworth (prosecution)
- Eiki Shiki (judge)
- Aura Blackquill (purveyor of shiny holographic evidence screens)
Witnesses (apparently all prosecution witnesses)
- Gau Meguro (victim)
- Japan (victim; not killed by Snow but will testify as to the incident)
- Kyouko Kirigiri (investigator)
- Tieria Erde (investigator)
- Bobby Fulbright (not involved but can testify on investigation methods)
THREADS:
- Defense lobby (where Snow and Apollo can chill; OPEN to their visitors and well-wishers)
- Prosecution lobby (where Miles can knock some sense into UH I MEAN PREP HIS WITNESSES; may be CLOSED to himself, witnesses, and law enforcement folk)
- Trial (will include cross-examination, Apollo and Miles flinging evidence screens at each other, arguments)
- Audience (OPEN to everyone watching)
- Aftermath (OPEN; self-explanatory)
There are two more things that I'd like settled, and I'd like your input. I'm going to ask if you guys want a jury, and if you think Snow should be declared guilty or innocent. If you've been around for the murder mystery and have helped solve it and seen the clues, let's hear from you! I want to hear your feedback. Cassandra (Snow) and Jade (Eiki) are both okay with any verdict and so am I. I don't want this to be a unilateral thing; we'd like to hear your say on the matter. Don't just think of the clues, think of how your characters would react as well and what you yourself think.
Next, jury is going to be a very difficult thing to handle, in my opinion, but might be a welcome addition. Honestly after organizing this I don't think I can fit a jury and it would probably make things easier if we went without. But yes, I prefer to hear what y'all have to say on the subject and if you believe a jury is feasible and the pros outweigh the cons, I'd love some suggestions on how to make it work. In general, this post is for those who still want in on the court action and for people who want to give feedback.
Any questions? Feel free to ask!

Should Snow be declared guilty or innocent?
Should we have a jury? (Not just for this trial, but in future trial logs.)

if anyone has ideas for that, i'm all ears!! honestly he'll do pretty much anything; he already got shot up by Robert without even reporting it.
