EVENT ➜ A TYPICAL VALENTINE

But first, a quick state of the union.

➜ Because of how few and far between some houses are when it comes to having more than one person and/or having only one type of resident (spouse or child), there will be a randomized housing post put up sometime before the event. So sometime before Friday. Probably Wednesday. More information on that later!

➜ During this month I will work on a timeline post for Holly Heights! Basically the major events that have happened from the opening until now, updated once a month. This will contain both official events, player plots, and important things that affected a lot of players. This will also require player feedback, so watch out for this appearing in early to mid March!

➜ Regarding the future of Holly Heights, it will not be going anywhere soon! People have asked and raised concern, I think because of a lot of bigger and more prominent games closing recently, but I assure you that HH is going to be sticking around for a while. At least the rest of this year and 2015 as of right now. Of course, everything can change, but this is a pretty solid thing here. Around the later half of this year, a little more plot things will happen and more NPC action will happen which should grow from there.

But anyway, onto Valentine's stuff because we're a game of dirty shippers!

➜ To keep this as short and sweet as possible, it will be yet another "forced feeling" event. On the morning of the 14th, one of five bottles will be given to residents (or not, if you wish to opt out). Attached to the neck of each is a little slip of paper that says "Truce." on one side and a description on the other. Inside there is scented water and a little artifact. They are as follows and each have a side effect to go with them..

"Something to warm your heart."
This potion will be the typical forced affection, or at least heightened affection. The pretty standard fare for Valentine's Day events.

❛❛ S T A R ❜❜
"Because you're a star."
This potion will make people extremely attracted to you. On what level is up to you, be it good attention, bad attention, or just flat out attention attention!

❛❛ C L O V E R ❜❜
"Your luck will soon change."
This potion will make someone interested in you. Be it someone you'd like to be, someone you don't want around you, or a random person. BOTH PARTIES MUST AGREE ON THIS.

❛❛ K E Y ❜❜
"Unlock your heart."
This potion will make the holder spill secrets and be completely honest. Useful for tsnderes, liars, and secretive people.

❛❛ R O S E ❜❜
"Enhance your love life."
This potion will make you more daring. If you're already in a relationship, this will amp it up. If you aren't, then it will make you try to initiate a relationship or be more flirtatious/raunchy/other words you'd like to use.

➜ The first will of course make you like someone. The second will make everyone like you. The third will make one specific person like you. The fourth will do as it says in the description: making you more open, honest, and giving with information. The fifth will just take a feeling to the next level or possibly make something happen that you may not have expected.

➜ For each potion, there will be a sign up thread. Yes, you may specifically pick which potion you'd like! If you would rather it be a surprise, there will also be a thread for a randomized potion.

➜ For the third vial, both people will have to consent. So if your character is going to get a clover bottle, you'll have to go "Hey, would your character be into being into mine?" or it won't work. Speaking plainly, don't jut put a random persons name down. Discuss it first.

➜ For the fifth vial, please do not get too adult with this (unless you have reason) and if you do decide to do something a little R-18, please lock it and/or warn for it. This also does not mean that affected characters will go around just forcing people or anything.

➜ When it comes to the side effects and how they react, one does not cancel another out. It's up to you to creatively think about who all has what type of side effect and how they will interact with each other!
