Hello! I'm Manda, and I'm totally new to Holly Heights though I know a few of you from elsewhere. I'm bringing in a horrible decision, Kaoru Nagumo from the video game Hakuouki, a delightful visual novel romp through the Meiji era, featuring romance, action, the Shinsengumi, vampires, and everyone you love dying. Yep. Vampires. Or vampire-like-creatures, anyway.
Kaoru is not one of them, though he bears some similarities! Though human in Holly Heights (of course), and passing as human at home most of the time, Kaoru is actually an oni. What this really means, in short, is that he had an awful life and is manipulative, cruel, intelligent, and a liiiittle bit crazy. But he's great at acting like he's not any of those things! So that's... good!
He also spends a decent amount of time disguised as a woman, including the canon point he's being taken from. Coming from a world full of conflict (some of it occasionally involving or caused by him), Kaoru will be very confused to find himself in a place where people aren't trying to kill each other all the time. It might take him a bit to get his bearings and figure out WTF is going on.
Kaoru will be living in 1480. You guys get a new dad!I am so sorry. Congratulations!
