Helloooo!! I'm Kapi and I'll be playing Mr. Dark Rescue Is My Middle Name (what does that even mean), Lea from Kingdom Hearts! AKA Axel, which I suspect is what most if not all of his canonmates are going to call him by. I've taken him from sometime post-Dream Drop Distance, and as such there's bound to be spoilers galore for virtually the entire KH series if you interact with him. I can try to keep things spoiler-light in tags with you if you're concerned (though Lea's very existence is kind of a big spoiler?), just let me know.

If your character met the previous Axel that was in HH they're free to recognise him, because Lea is literally identical in appearance/personality to his Nobody incarnation minus the facial tattoos, buuut Lea isn't going to remember being in HH previously.

Lea will be chilling in 1403 with his assigned daughter Asuka Kyouno, whose canon I'm actually checking out atm and oh man, the family situation is probably gonna be pretty awkward for Lea. Which means fun for me. :Db

FF8 was one of my favourite FF games and I love what I've seen of your Quistis! I actually play(ed) Irvine and Laguna, but at the time castmates were so hard to come by and it got kinda lonely never having any to play off of (or they were there but inactive), so they've been neglected. Might be time for a canon review at some point really just an excuse to play video games and see what it yields.

Yeah! FF8 is... well, I'm that person who definitely doesn't take the canon seriously but then goes around and has every feeling possible about it. But please let me ugh, Irvine. I can wax poetic about the rad bromance I want to play out with one someday... maybe... I can most certainly understand the loneliness; I think a lot of the characters can be draining to play from that game and really do, to some degree, rely on one another.

I think you do great with Quistis, her threads are fun to read because you really get into her head with the srs bsns stuff.

Although it would be incredibly apt when talking about Irvine, I'm not a dirty tease! galbadianmarksman feel free to suggest better usernames if you think of any lol

I've played Laguna more than Irvine so I'm definitely going to want to do some canon reviewing and such before I get into anything serious with him, to see if I still have a good feel for the character. If I don't... I guess I'll have to take back what I said about teasing, since I'd rather not halfass it. In the meantime feel free to wax poetic if you want. :>

There's just so little love for the non-Squall/Seifer characters from FF8 and it's a shame. It's also too bad more never got to make the jump to Kingdom Hearts, I'd love to see them in that style.

Oh, gosh. Thanks. I'm a little (lot) embarrassed now.

I'm the worst with usernames. I usually have to sit on a character for months before I come up with one; nothing I personally have fits him (I think??) and I haven't thought of any yet, but who knows? If it gets the job done, it gets the job done.

I know how this works. I'd like to play Laguna at some point, but he's not my usual type and when I canon reviewed, I very specifically was watching Quistis' body movements and the way she worded things and so on and so forth. And with FF8 I usually make it to Ultimecia's Castle and lose the drive because I don't have time for these riddles. uwu

Yeah, I think Irvine was originally supposed to take the place of Wakka? And I know Quistis was supposedly slated to be in the games, but she ended up making an appearance in Itadaki Street Portable instead. Rinoa also gets a lot of love -- just look at the products (and icons) for her. And... Selphie... The things I would do for that many figures of Quistis...
