EVENT ➜ KNOCK KNOCK, WHO'S THERE?

Despite the event title this actually has very little to do with the event. Sort of.

As you know, in July it's been promised that some will be able to meet the Landlord. Whether this is 100% true or not...who knows! Well, me. But definitely not you or anyone else.

This has been an interesting thing to ask people about and to see their responses, both serious and silly, and I figured I'd do a little probing poll to see what other people think: do you have any headcanon faces (be they actors, animated, etc) for the Landlord? Any features you think he would have? A voice you imagine he has?

This won't have any effect on the month's event or anything, but it would be interesting to know! So please feel free to tell me in this post.

It may be a little more related than you think!

I don't have any solid headcanon on what he looks like, but for some reason I always hear him as Patrick Swayze as he was in Donnie Darko (or w/e the shitty infomercial in the movie, same diff).

In terms of what he sounds like I honestly always thought of him as a stereotypical English villain, quiet and polite but still somewhat unsettling to speak to one on one. :|

john slatterty in mad men suits him to some degree. and i think that a smooth english-accented voice would be good for him.

But there was this one episode called Randy the Robot about a giant robot that makes wooden reindeer sculptures?? I sound like I'm on drugs but I swear this is legit. The robot sounded kind of like Christopher Walken. And the Lessor sounds all cool and suave over the network, but I always sort of imagined him sounding like Randy irl

Voice wise I always envisioned this smooth, polite charming sort of guy, but in terms of the face it just.

Wasn't there. Like in those cartoons where the head of that one character was always off screen, I could just never imagine a face.

I've been thinking people would perceive him the way they expect him to look. As in, he appears differently for everyone.

Maybe some would see a dude that looks like a model, others would see a faceless abomination. Same with his voice.
