LANDLORD? LANDLORD WHO?

And now for a moment a lot of you have all been waiting for...

It's time to enter the Landlord's domain.

➜ Residents will have ten days to be inside and explore the Landlord's residence. Seems pretty easy right? Just come and go as you like?

Nope, it's never that easy.

➜ In teams of four to eight residents (originally six to eight but the minimum was lowered to help out a little), they'll be stuck in the house for ten days straight. But it won't be so easy as to just sleep on the couch and raid the fridge there. You all wouldn't fit! With some magic and manipulation, teams may be trapped in one room, by themselves in the house, with other teams in the house. These are all interchangeable on different days. It's a little more like a maze than an all out expedition.

➜ Some days there might be a puzzle to be solved to proceed to the next room on the next day or to proceed to a team event. The puzzles might be physical, mental, a search-and-find type puzzle, or other forms of problem solving.

➜ Those of you that were on the winning team in the paintball war (designated by orange stars on the taken list) OR if you requested an audience with the landlord, you will get a special pass when you wake up in the landlord's house on the first day. This pass permits you the ability to skip one puzzle so you don't have to worry about doing it and not solving it to be able to proceed. Using the pass, you're automatically warped to the next stage. If you complete all the puzzles with passes fast, the tenth stage will not be open until the tenth day. So if you have three people on a team with a pass and they use it on the first three days and automatically progress to stage four, then move onward normally to stage nine, you'll have to stay there until the 23rd. This will not be told to your characters on the pass!

➜ If that was tl;dr for you, maybe this is simpler: you can go through the stages as fast as you can with passes, but you still won't be able to "meet the landlord" until the 23rd so they'll be stuck somewhere until then.

➜ Because some days will contain puzzles, while each day will be a stage with ten stages in all to get to the grand final, it may take more than a day to complete one stage. These will come in handy if you have a puzzle that might take your team a bit for one puzzle!

➜ So do you actually get to meet the landlord? Maybe. Maybe not. But in order to see, your team must advance through the ten stages.

➜ What exactly are the stages? What does the house look like? What exactly will these puzzles be? On each day from the 13th-24rd, a new comment will go up in a log for exploration. In that comment will be room/house details, where your team is in one room/freely roaming the house/roaming the house with other teams. The puzzle will also be listed along with the OOC solution so you don't have to be as clueless as your characters could be. Also, someone else might show up to help on your exploration!

➜ Entering the house, powers will be stripped but any items on their person on a normal day are allowed to be on their person as usual. Also, your character will be dressed appropriately, no pajamas or birthday suits, even if that's what they went to bed with or were wearing before showing up at the Landlord's house.

➜ Items CAN BE REMOVED from the Landlord's house. Theft is not a punishable crime, after all!

➜ For those who do not sign up, life will continue on as usual but those who do sign up will be missing yet still on the contact list. They cannot be reached. Those who are inside the landlord's house may also not be able to communicate except with their own teammates UNLESS it is a day where multiple teams are in the same space as they are.

➜ Teams won't be ICly decided, but instead OOCly decided. Someone must make a comment for your team (a team name doesn't matter) and those who are also on that team + yourself must respond to that comment. If you would like to be on a set of a randomized team(s), there will be a thread to do so here!
