poolside | (no subject)

Hi there, Holly Heights! I'm Dutch, and I was here eons ago with a yellow-scarved brat ~~and some others for like five seconds~~ before dropping out. Now, I return! With another character, but one from the same canon. (Look, Durarara!! is awesome, okay? NEW SEASON STARTS THIS WEEKEND, OMFGYAY!!)

On the off chance you don't know Izaya: he's a bastard, pretty much. He looooves ~~his~~ humans - so much so that he even loves seeing if they'll kill themselves. What a charming fellow! That said, he's not outright evil, and he can be your best friend if he feels like it, especially if you're a kid. So much potential in kids... So much fun to see how they'll turn out, amirite? Especially if you can give them a little push every now and then. To encourage their personal growth or whatever. (No, really, it's just fun to watch them.) As a side note: I'm taking Izaya from after vol. 6, meaning he's way ahead of the anime. I don't think there should be much in the way of spoilers except with castmates, but a bare minimum of information may pop up, namely: Izaya just got stabbed, passed out, and woke up in HH. Good times!

Izaya will be lying low and trying to sort this place out for a while, so he won't be getting up to too much yet, just getting to know people and reading as much of the network archive as he can. (What do you mean he was here before?!) I have a nice business in mind for him, but... that can wait a little bit.

BUT YEAH ANYWAY robert knew izaya quite well from his first stay; they had rather interesting cr! just wanted to check in with you as to how you wanted to handle that, if it's cool robert remembers him, or if you'd rather a clean slate, etc?

I'm absolutely fine with Robert remembering Izaya! Obviously Izaya will be a little annoyed, but... that's less than Izaya deserves on a good day, let's face it. He's already learned from the network archive that he's been in HH before, anyway, so that should soften the blow a little.

I peeked at old entries a bit... I'm gonna presume there's no obvious record of any interaction between these two - at least none on video - so Izaya can be properly surprised. (Should never have said you like surprises, Iza... This is why lies are dangerous.)
