player plot!!

HELLO EVERYONE, so for this holiday season Rin is gonna be receiving the gift of the Monkey's Paw/Rainy Devil!! Because she was already starting to have a bad time so obviously it needed to be made worse.

Essentially she's gonna go berserk and attack some people for a night or few. I know in Bakemonogatari the whole deal is that the attacks are triggered by hateful and resentful feelings, but since Rin is too much of a weenie to really dislike anyone I figured it'd be easier to just have the victims be random. But hey, if we can hash out a plausible reason for Rin to have any sort of negative feelings towards any of them, even better.

So!! I'm asking for a maximum of 5 people who Rin can attack (i can also bump it up some if more people want in) the slots filled faster than i expected so i'm upping the limit!!

We can discuss the extent of their injuries and they don't have to have CR with Rin beforehand either. I know I'm probably skimping out on a bunch of the details but just shoot me any questions here. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

PS anyone's more than welcome to fight her too tho she'll be invulnerable, and you're more than welcome to jump in as witnesses or attempt to intervene, not just participate as victims.

sounds great! Rin can get ready to dodge some dynamite, then, haha.

he's been pretty severely injured in canon many a time, but he's not super strong or inhuman or anything— I think it's just mostly shounen manga logic, and a lot of external injuries (stabbing/punching/getting shocked/hit by cars or explosives/that kind of thing).

so, if she goes full force at him, he would probably get pretty injured, no matter how much he fights back. I'd be cool with some broken bones/bruises/blood shed, but maybe nothing really wild, like getting torn to pieces or something like that.

hellooooo! I believe you're on a trip so there's no rush replying to this (or at all), but I wanted to give a heads up about something! since it's been hectic and I lagged behind in our thread (sorry about that!), I wanted to follow up and let you know that as long as it's cool with you, the worst of Gokudera's injuries will be/will have been a broken left arm and some cracked ribs, and then the rest can be some otherwise gnarly surface wounds.

if any of that's an issue, let me know and I can do some retconning! also, I'm still up for keeping the thread going, unless you'd prefer to handwave (which I'm also fine with; happy to do what works best for you), but I just wanted to make sure things were cool for continuity.
