Hi everyone! I'm Pain, player of Mithos here. He may look like he's fourteen years old, but he's actually over four thousand. Hence... he's playing an adult role, for now. He can also change his physical age at will, and if it seems weird to have someone who is physically 14 playing a parental role, I can have him be stuck in his adult form until he gains his powers back.

I was dragged here by our dear Koz, mun of Alice, who will be his extremely un-wifelike wife.

I'm looking forward to playing with all of you! :D

I have to wonder if it worked because she's the worst possible influence. They have a lot of things in common, especially when it comes to their thoughts on humans. ... from what I remember, anyway. I do agree that there aren't a lot of female elves/half-elves in Symphonia. :|a Also for the Raine thing, you could be extra creepy and say Mithos/Virginia!!

Alice hates humans as well, but I'm not sure if it's to the same degree (i.e. "round them up into human ranches and systematically kill them hundreds at a time"). Though, they can relate to the "My family is dead because I should have been able to protect them" conundrum (Martel for Mithos, Alice's parents for Alice), thinking power is the only way to make things change, and of course, both being half-elves.

Mithos liked Alice because of how much they had in common. Same was the case with Alice, though she also liked him because of her fetishization of power, and it doesn't get much more powerful than Four Seraphim. That was also one of her goals: "I want a Cruxis Crystal."

That's not to say the relationship was perfect. She was still borderline abusive (though not as much as she could be), and he was basically fixating on her as a replacement for Martel while dealing with his 'everyone ever betrayed me' deal and constant victim complex, which isn't healthy.

It looks like you guys have put a lot of thought into the pairing, which means it must be something you have a lot of fun playing out. I think it'll be a lot of fun to watch unfold too. I said it before, but the concept is pretty interesting. And all your explanation make sense.

Not just the humanity bits, but the stuff about power as well. I'd ask about how that'd work out here (since they're going to start out with no power, I think?), but it's prooobably better to read it in the game and see how it develops that way.

As an aside, I'm probably going soon because my internet keeps punting me off. That and it's around 5:20 here (we're in the same timezone, it seems!).
