Hello! My name is nol and I was here briefly about a year ago, but now I'm back with this guy!

This is Sugane Tachibana from ~~Sort-of-kinda-not-really-~~Gatchaman Crowds! He's a no nonsense kind of guy carrying a sword around, but actually he's shy and kind of socially awkward. All in all he's pretty nice, he won't turn down a help in need. Oh yeah he also basically had his soul extracted and turn into a day planner and transform into a swan-samurai-knight themed hero.*

*Catchy theme song included, cheesy liners sold separately.

Hello! Iyo here, with a slightly outdated drop announcement as well as introing another muse from the same series.

Jun has been dropped as of the end of August; I apologize for such a late response, but I didn't want to clog up the comm posts with a drop announcement only to come back in with another intro. He had some shoujo manga accumulated during the short say he had here, and Sawamura is free to take them if he wants to talk to Furuya about it.

On another hand! I am bringing in Youichi Kuramochi from Ace of Diamond! In the series, he's in the same year as Miyuki but since I am taking him at an earlier canon point than the Miyuki that's in here, he's slightly younger than Miyuki.

A little bit about Kuramochi: He's an ex-punk who plays as shortstop while in defense, and is one of the fastest runners on the team. He also has a trademark laugh that sounds kind of like a hyena... He's like an older brother (?) to Sawamura, although Kuramochi is pretty much the one that babysits Sawamura most of the time (mainly to keep him in his place so he's not as rude to the upperclassmen). He can be rude, especially if you're a dick (like Miyuki), but he's generally a very social person. For his canon point, he's currently one of the vice captains to, in a way, support Miyuki with leading the team.

He's at house 1452, with Sugane Tachibana and Ryosuke Kominato (daiya cast) as parents and Haruichi Kominato (also from daiya ahuehue) as the other child slot!

Hi everyone!

I go by Az , I'm new to the mix and super nervous/excited here so forgive any typos/mistakes.
I'm a bit new to DW but not to roleplaying. I started on LJ years ago, drifted to insanejournal, then to Inksome, then back to IJ and now....BAM! Here we are. I sorta got directed to this place last minute ~~by a very awesome person~~ but I'm so happy I checked it out and managed to app in! I'm one of a trio that is breaking your Sport and Idol Combos by adding a Hunter to the mix.

That will be Gon Freecss, he's from the main cast of Hunter x Hunter. It's an old series on a never ending hiatus that got a pretty nice anime reboot in 2011. He'll be very eager to explore all corners of Holly Heights and meet new faces along the way. He's friendly and full of energy that is just ready to be released. While he may not be an Idol or that into sports, he knows how to play dodgeball! An~~d by dodgeball, I mean punching the ball as hard as he can into your face. In good sportsmanship-sort-of-way!~~

Hi, hello! This is Sonia with some updates but mostly with an announcement to say that I'm officially coming off of my very sudden and unannounced hiatus. For those of you on my plurk, you already know what kind of stuff is going down but hopefully we're at a point where things are evening out over here!

In light of recent events two slightly bad things have had to happen:

1. I had to drop a lot of threads because I was drowning in backlog hell. If there's something you want to finish or want to hash out then please just let me know! A PM to any of my accounts would be just fine or you can pp me over on plurk! If you have any other questions regarding that, please feel free to ask!

2. Since the state over here is delicate, I've had to drop Xanxus for now. It was really something that I didn't want to have to do but ultimately I think it was what I had to do to help with some weird healing process that's happening over here. I'm hoping I can bring him back at some point, but we'll see!

But yes, I'm definitely back and if anyone wants to plot anything for the current event just let me know! Germany, Mikoto and Gamagoori are all up for grabs for things and I'll be sorting out their points a little more today.

Also, In terms of updates for characters, Gamagoori did have a birthday earlier in the month and has gotten his ability to appear larger than he actually is again ( he's currently set at 6'7" if that helps). I did put a cap on it because I don't think he should be as big as a gd building, so dependent on situations he should be able to appear up to 10ft tall (based on intensity and emotions). Again, questions are welcome and if we aren't friends on plurk or you want to send a message it's

Activity Check will run through the last week of August. Activity can be from July 25th through August 31st. Please use activity posted before this week unless you are stretched and must use a proof from reserve week.

SOME NOTES ON AC
Here are a couple of not so crystal clear rules about what is and is not activity. It's never been strictly laid out like this before since it seems a little obvious, but just in case, here's what does and doesn't qualify for AC / tag count starting this AC:

➜ If you used a thread or post in a previous AC you may not use that thread/post again. In short terms, if I've seen it before, I do not want to see it again. Even if you tagged a post 100 more times, I want to see new proofs of activity. Not an old one with new stuff added on.

➜ With open logs, you may use more than one thread from the same log but they must have different characters in them. For example, from our recent island log, you may use an Island 08 thread and an Island 12 thread to make or combine for AC, but if in both threads you're threading with the same character, you can only choose one.

➜ Do not alter the form you are given to post AC with. This makes it so much easier for me to go through and for others/yourself if you need to reference them.

➜ Forms now have a place for a comment count. Please do not leave these off. Please use these to do the math for yourself. If you have a comment count of 3 and a comment count of 4 for post threads, these do not add up to 10 thus they do not count.

➜ Finally, and this is newly decided, comment spams will only count for one comment. This is an example of what I mean. Kanata would only have one comment AC wise here even though he made five different comments.

Please provide one (1) proof of activity in one the following forms:

➜ A post either on the network or the log community. A post counts if you have put it up and replied to comments on it as of when you post it. Please do not use a post with no replies from you as proof.

➜ Network post comments equaling to 10. It can be a thread with 10 comments from you, three threads with 3+3+4 comments from you. Enough to equal 10.

➜ Log post comments equaling to 5. It can be a thread with 5 comments from you, two threads with 3+2 comments from you, etc. Enough to equal 5.

➜ Mailbox post comments equaling to 15. It can be a thread with 15 comments from you, two threads with 9+6 comments from you, etc. Enough to equal 15.

You are exempt from the activity check if you:

➜ Posted any hiatus during July 25th through August 31st that lasted a week or more. There isn't a need to comment here if so, but if you'd like to pop in and say something OR if you have enough to post to AC anyway, feel free. Also, if you discuss a hiatus with me personally, it always helps to post it somewhere anyways just so I don't overlook it.

➜ Post with a strike. Simply reply with the form but instead of dates and links, put STRIKE. This is for those that wish to continue playing but don't have enough activity to make it this month. If you ask for a strike the next month, you will be removed from the game. If you make AC the next month, then your strike will be negated. If you take a strike and then hiatus the next month, your strike will roll over with you whenever you are next active.

Please do not post AC for others without their express permission. If someone would like to idle out by not responding to the AC, then that is their own business, and not the place of others to show activity for them.

Do not post activity until it is complete. You have a week to complete activity, so don't dilly dally! Please fill out the following form for each character you have. Feel free to put multiple characters in one comment. You have until the beginning of the new month to post, then you will be removed from the game. There will be no exceptions.

NEW Because the game is not as big as it used to be and has slowed down in speed and character turnover, we'll be doing an AC for a while that only requires one proof. Based on the ability to complete this and if the game's temperature changes, this may be edited but for now it will remain one proof of AC for everyone. This goes for everyone.

Hey everyone!

Man, this is weird for me to post, but after being in Holly Heights since it's opening I'm dropping out of the game. You might have noticed my tags have come at a glacial pace this summer since I've been dragged all over the place and haven't had time to tag, but now I've finally had time to sit down and tag I just noticed my motivation for it is completely gone. I think it's better because of that for me to step back and take a break now, which means I'm dropping Minako from the game.

Holly Heights has always been great to me, and I love all of the people here and all the cr Minako's had over the years. Don't party too hard without her, okay. If one of the employees of Moe Moe wants to take over, please just let me know and you can have it!

Just like Chouza, Uzume is going back to his adoptive daughters. Those two always go together, don't they? It's been a good two years with Uzume in this game, but now he's leaving. The pets go to Toph and Kuroko, and the petting zoo is taken over by Katsura (probably).

Of course, you're not rid of me completely, as I'm still here with Mikuni, Hiyori, Ayame and Asuka.

After two years in Holly Heights, I think it's time for Chouza to go home. He's had a good time and I've had a good time with him here, but my activity with him has been dwindling a lot over the past months. He's sure Veronica will be able to run the shop well, and that his poisonous greenhouse can be dealt with properly (be careful with that one though--or make all the plants disappear or do what you want with his poison research). He also knows that the kids will manage well, so he doesn't have to worry.

I'll still be around with Badr, Yukihina, Jun and Takasu though, so there's just this guy that's leaving, not all of us.

Reply to your teams thread with the following form filled out correctly. If your form is incomplete as of August 31st, 11:59 PM CST, what you do have present is what will count. You can only add numbers up to the days you would ICly complete them, meaning you can't plan ahead anything on your form (especially because you don't know the point values for the day lol). You MAY backdate and edit your form as you can complete any known tasks OOCly on any day you wish.

For example: If your character receives a task on Day 2 that you don't have plans for until three days later, you can still claim those rewards via backdated threads. You may also claim points from incomplete threads if you want to do any hand waving BUT keep this to a minimum.

PLAY YOUR HAND JUST RIGHT

This month's event will involve two things which I hope will excite everyone: 1) a team event and 2) an event where a log isn't required. I know a lot of y'all aren't about the logging. This is an event, however, where you could probably make use of a lot of individual logs, though how you play it out is completely up to you!

➜ This month's event will involve two things which I hope will excite everyone: 1) a team event and 2) an event where a log isn't required. I know a lot of y'all aren't about the logging.

➜ On Monday, team members will receive a packet in the mail that details their involvement, team information, and rules for the event. Each Holly Heights resident, regardless of their consent, will receive this information as well as a coloured keychain with a simple design style (a small coloured disc without any other markings). This keychain can be displayed or kept hidden; it's simply up to the character's discretion.

➜ Teams are sorted by color: Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Green, Purple, Pink, and Black. Your team assignment is displayed on the taken list and should be obvious to you. If you would like your specific characters to be more diverse, reply to this thread so that they can be randomized elsewhere. However, when the event starts all team positions will be finalized. I ALSO HOPE THAT YOU DO NOT DO THIS BECAUSE WE HAVE EIGHT COMPLETELY EVEN TEAMS AND THAT IS SO CHOICE so I strongly suggest if you want to move, you find someone to swap with you so we keep things Even Steven.

Note: Just because your character has an assigned color doesn't mean they have to participate. How do you participate, though? Let's continue:

➜ The information packet will explain that this event will be based on task completion and reward. Poker chips will be given to players who complete certain tasks given daily. The standard values are 1, 5, 25, 100, and 500. If you were on the boat excursion, you received a 200 chip. This is an advantage for your team during the event.

➜ When a task is completed, the resident receives the corresponding chip in the mail. At the end of the event, a teams total amount of chips will be tallied and the team with the most chips wins. Other teams will then fall into second through eighth place. The first four places win awards that are in scale with their place. The four last place teams will receive punishments in accordance with their place.

➜ Here's an example of an event day:

Kotetsu receives his three tasks for the day. They are worth 5, 100, and 1 respectively. He completes the 1 and 5 tasks easily but has difficulty with the 100 task, leaving it incomplete for the day. The next day he receives three additional tasks to be completed for the day as well as his 5 and 1 chips for completing the tasks from the previous day.

TL;DR Complete tasks, earn chips, get prizes. Pretty simple, right?

➜ An added snafu will be present intermittently. Occasionally one days mail will ask residents to offer up a possible risk/reward or punishment type scenario. One day a letter may ask team members to pay 100 points to sabotage one person or a team in general. Other days a chip lottery may take place with teams winning based on their choices. On days like this, specific rules will go up to explain them more clearly. This will just let you know not everything is fun and games!

➜ During the second week of the event, a setting change will happen: Holly Heights will become an island for one week, meaning the setting will be more tropical and the entire area will be surrounded by a beach. More concrete setting specifics will be available on the first day of the setting change.

➜ This event does involve keeping trask of (gasp) numbers so be prepared for that. To save you time and to give me peace of mind when tallying all this crap up, there is a post for keeping track of your totals. Underneath your team's thread, post your comment and keep track of your daily earnings and either keep a total running throughout the event or add up your winnings at the end of the event. The winning teams and finally tally will be put up at the start of September.

Hello Holly Heights! This is Iyo (a number of you may remember me from a few months ago) returning with a different muse! This time I will be playing from a sports series...

I am bringing Jun Isashiki from Ace of Diamond, that one baseball series that have lots of episodes. And lots of yelling and intense atmospheres.

Jun in particular is one of the loudest on the team: his yelling from the outfield while the team's on the defense can be heard by everyone. he also looks like he's always angry. He's a third year and vice captain, giving pointers at the younger players so they can improve on their play! He's very blunt with words and whatnot too, so he can be pretty intimidating if you're not used to it.

I'd also like to point out that he likes shoujo manga. And that Eijun Sawamura calls him Spitz Senpai. Don't call him that if you don't want him yelling at you!!!

I'm glad to be back with you all, and am looking forward to throwing ~~spitz-senpai~~ ~~beard-senpai~~ Jun at people! <3

Yoooooo, what's up Holly Heights?

A new face here, though I know a few of you guys (you know who you are.) Name's Jami and I'm dragging in one Hayato Ichimonji from Kamen Rider fame. Hayato happens to be Kamen Rider 2 from the original 1971 series. I've taken him from a manga that takes place after his show and so he is also Kazuya Taki's canonmate!

That said, while he's a cybernetic superhero in canon, he's going to be blissfully human and confused here. He'll be taking up residence in house 1436 and probably trying to get in everyone's business. He's a photojournalist by trade so I hope you are ready for his shenanigans.

THAT SAID. Given that Hayato is from something pretty noteworthy in Japanese pop culture, And that there are statues of his partner all over Japan, I'm totally cool with having him be recognized. Have at! He'll be even more confused.
