Hello, Holly Heights! I KNOW A BILLION OF YOU HERE BUT ANYWAY. I'm Auste (don't ask me how to pronounce it, sometimes even I'm not sure) and I'm 100% new to the scene, and I bring you this guy right here -
Miles Edgeworth from the Ace Attorney series. He's a prosecutor so expect him to invade the courthouse and attempt to make tighter rules and impose ORDER. Um, not only that, he's a GENIUS prosecutor who's been at the job since he was 20, and has a way with logic and deduction that doesn't carry over at all to social skills. He is tsun on the outside and dere on the inside, a true gentleman unless you're a criminal or lying to him, and far more intimidating than he says he is in that screencap.
Edgeworth used to be a complete jerk but now he's just a jerk with a heart of gold who loves tea, chess, cravats, and kiddie samurai shows BUT THAT LAST ONE IS A SECRET. I'm taking him from his least jerk canon point, which is after Ace Attorney Investigations.
Here, he can be found at 1438 with his wife, Alex Garcia, and his daughter, Rise Kujikawa. Congrats, gals. I hope you enjoy your new somewhat lineface-y and dense dad/husband figure.
