+1 Grumpy prosecutor
Hey there everyone! Brand new player here. My name is Nadia and I'm going to be bringing you one Simon Blackquill from Ace Attorney. He's the prosecutor in the newest installment of the series.
Basic facts about him if you haven't played the game yet: He's very intimidating and has a major attitude problem. Pretty much he's the exact opposite of the detective who he works with, which happens to be Bobby Fulbright. That and he also happens to have been in prison for the past seven years on the charge of first degree murder. Also, he's got a twisted sense of humor and a tendency to speak of trials like they are sword fights and has a weird mix of acting like a samurai and using random British words. Basically, typical AA prosecutor because god forbid that they have a normal trial.
Oh, and he's also got a skill for psychological manipulation/suggestion. Basically, he'll say something and the person will feel a temptation to do it and it's made him incredibly effective at getting confessions from suspects or getting the Judge to make the opening statement because he feels it a waste of his time. Canon sadly doesn't explain this well, other than it's not supernatural it's a learned skill of his.
And it seems someone had a very sick sense of humor and put him in 1440 with Fulbright and Hisami Hishiishii. I probably should apologize in advance because someone obviously had a sicker sense of humor than Simon does.
He's going to be coming from post game, but most of the spoilers are not things he'd volunteer freely, but just in case I do have an opt out post for spoilers here which also covers an opt out for his suggestion skill as well (along with a more detailed explanation on how it works).
Anyway, looking forward to playing with everyone

I play him in two games so one day we should discuss Edgeworthisms, I have a habit of chatting up many Edgeworth playersOh, I do know of his position; I know promo material stuff here and there, just not ultimate plot-breaking spoilers (except one big spoiler). Boy, is Edgeworth going to be surprised when Blackquill addresses him as that.
Hisami might be inspired to write her next novel about weirdos ahahaha

That could be fun if you don't mind the fact that I play him in an AU/memloss game, so there's some differences.Cool, didn't want to spoil you with that one since that's the only thing I can't really avoid right off, but at least with that sort of position Simon is actually going to be mostly respectful and Edgey will be mostly immune from Simon's sick sense of humor, which even the Judge gets a few doses of.
At least in Hisami's favor, Simon and Fulbright are mostly harmless, though Simon doesn't seem that way, but he does seem to like kids at least.

Not at all, I've given Edgeworth supernatural powers myself so it's all good.Daaaaaang, Edgeworth gets brownie points from Simon when the defense and the judge don't. This is awesome.
Hisami's way more than harmless, she can't hurt a fly and is a good kid, obedient and respectful and all that. Once she's not so intimidated she'll probably be able to hit it off with these guys. Fulbright just did a big JUSTICE speech outside her house when he arrived so she's still kind of headtilting at him.

And that's so Fulbright. Hisami will likely become very sick of hearing "In justice we trust!".

He is a shogun and living his samurai dream
Fulbright's drive to investigate could win her over though; she really wants out.

I've seen arts and basically the sort of things you don't mind chucking at people because they aren't that spoilery. We all know how AA is with all this SEVEN YEARS AGOOOOO junk.
