PACK YOUR BAGS WE GOIN' CAMPING, HOMIE—
HELLO—!
We've been talking on plurk about putting together a little event in December-sort-of-end-of-the-semester shindig regarding highschool students! For those who don't know, Aikuro teaches all the sciences in the highschool. He likes to think outside the box a little now that he has the freedom of doing so here, AND SO— he's proposing taking students from 9th grade to 12th grade on a camping trip for a school assignment!
The assignment will be almost like a little scavenger hunt covering all sorts of material they have been studying about. Why? Cause he likes doing fun things when he can. He will assign different kinds of insects, plants, animals, minerals/rocks, constellations for each student to learn about. It should go something like this:
He will emphasize that the weight of these reports will affect their overall report card.
None of the reports have to ICly be written and turned in, but you're welcome to do so by hitting up Aikuro's inbox with whatever you want.
I'm thinking about having him assign (3) characters to each tent to stay in, or having it completely roughin' it with no tents at all. What do you guys think?
But then! Maybe you're not somebody who plays a highschool character. That's okay! Spectators or chaperones who just want to go camping are also welcome to come along, though they may have to sit through his lecturing that he may give the students. It will not all just be learning learning learning; they will have downtime for some campfire and s'mores as long as they don't freeze their butts off.
The event will ICly last (3) days and (2) nights. As to when it will actually start, we are aiming for an early December event before things get busy with Christmas, etc.
There are still things to be fleshed out, so please, feel free to give feedback or ask questions!

He will assign different kinds of insects, plants, animals, minerals/rocks, constellations for each student to learn about. It should go something like this:
Insects: (5) insects. Require identification, samples (that means catching them), (2) written reports.
Plants: (5) plants. Require identification, samples, and (2) written reports.
Animals (3) animals. Require identification and (1) written report.
Minerals/Rocks: (3). Require identification and (1) written report.
Constellation/star formations: (3). Require identification and reports on all three (3).
He will emphasize that the weight of these reports will affect their overall report card.

also the assignments being randomly assigned seems fun! people will have to get stuck tracking down bugs they hate or sitting out late past their bedtime to see constellations, etc etc many possibilities

new project.
identify what creature this strange being is. write a report on it. be sure to emphasize his bland personality and unattractive appearance which makes it difficult for him to breed during mating season.

Fair warning, Rei might try to get Chibiusa to listen to the lectures and actually learn something...
(Oh, and I'm also considering throwing Chiaki at this when it happens, since she could... pass for a high-schooler? xD)

She'll probably spend more time complaining about lectures or snacking or watching out for spiders. No spiders in the tent.
More friends!

And I agree to them having to put up tents on their own because it's fun watching people fail XD and the random group assignments, yes!
Also, Badr could chaperon any day if you want him to.
