EVENT ➜ SUMMER SHOWERSNow for the good stuff.
Most summering seasons come with a bit of rain, and depending on where you are in the would, it can be a shower a week or a typhoon every other day. Holly Heights has been experiencing a mild rainy season for quite some time, but come
the 16th to the 23rd, all that will go from being a slight annoyance to unavoidable disaster. This can normally be taken as a sign the weather has changed and that it can only get worse before it gets better. Here? Between the courthouse and all this new opposition, hell hath no fury like a lessor scorned.
16th-19th: Houses will begin to lose power, about 8 at a time, though maybe more on some days. This means that they will have no forum or network access, meaning that only action will be allowed, unless you want to try to brave going outside to borrow someones cell phone. On these days, those affected with have their names removed from the cell phone contact lists. For example, if house 1432 looses power, then the residents names will not show up for others to see. Can't they just see if the other person is okay? Well, they can. But with streets this flooded, it would be hard to drive, and with winds this severe, good luck getting out of the house often. After the day for your house is up, power will be returned. However? Even if your power goes out on the 15th, your contact listing still won't be there by the 19th. Just keep reading.
20th-23rd: After the 18th, all names will still be gone, though power is fully restored to everyone. Once the name has been taken off the list, it won't show back up again until after the 23rd. What's the deal with this? Well, the Landlord will make an announcement to clue those in without the ability to conspiracy theorize: if someone effected by the storm makes a post, but their name isn't on the contact list, is it really that person? Or is it a trick, illusion, or fallacy? For those unaffected, have fun rationalizing that out, and for those that will have some explaining to do, make a good case. Trouble makers can stir the pot and spread rumours on who is real and who is a fraud. It's also still raining cats and dogs outside, so good luck trying to prove anything with physical form. Videos can be recorded, voices can be mimicked, and text can be forged, you know?
Log posts will go up for action in houses affected by the storm. Use your time well, residents. The more people that come together, the less likely it is that this will happen in the future.
A list of the randomized houses will go up tomorrow with their specific dates. In the meantime, have fun waiting in suspense...
