So, as you may have heard, there will indeed be a Valentine's festival happening on the 14th! Invitations will be sent out with specifics to all characters, free shit is promised, etc.
There will be booths; you can own a booth. There will also be a fancy restaurant area for your more romantic date ideas. But what's the draw?
Assigned to the festival will be several cupids, consisting of character's selected ICly via random lottery (determined by sign up OOCly.) A cupid has a list of job features, which include.
➜ Coupling. This activity is the cupid's main prerogative. Upon receiving the notice that your character will be cupid, they'll also discover their mission: pair two people together. This will be a randomized assortment from the Taken List and there will be several couples matched up in hopes of getting one that is actually there. The cupid has equipment in order to get this job done: bow, rubber suction arrows with matching designs and colours, fluffy handcuffs. Success in handcuffing together the designated couple, a cupid will receive 500 dollars and a sash.
➜ Five extra sets of handcuffs are given to cupids in order to make their own couplings. Each couple they handcuff together will net them 100 dollars.
➜ But what if they want to make a chain of people? Assume each person is $50. If a cupid wants to literally handcuff together a love triangle, that's $150.
➜ Cupids also are given a small vial of honesty serum. For those pesky jitters that won't let you tell your soon-to-be (hopefully) special someone how you feel, this is Love Potion No. 9....or it can go horribly wrong, it's up to you.
The booths and concrete location details will be more detailed on the log for the festival. The amount of cupids will be no more than five or however many sign up. If more than 5 sign up, the cupids will be randomized and revealed on the log.
REMEMBER THAT YOUR CHARACTER WOULD HAVE TO ACCEPT DOING THIS so don't sign up a character that would say no, unless you're willing to still participate them in some kind of tom-foolery. If you want to sign up, simply comment here!
