This mini event has two different aspects to it. One will be a standard interaction dinner, which is the ususal fanfare for hoiday event types, with a little twist added in for those more plot (this place has a plot??) conscious.
➜ First of all, to pique your interest, this banquet will take place at the Landlord's house, unexplored territory for the most part. It does exist and people have ventured there, but this time around it is open to the public. At least the grounds, the front patio (a marble floor outside that's decent in size; we're talking about a mansion here), and the foyer to the house will be open. For those more concerned about adventure and not food, all the doors in the house are locked, though there are drawers and cabinets in the foyer. Locks cannot be picked. You won't find much, except maybe some grocery lists, but if you'd like to look you're welcome.
➜ The banquet will be the same you've come to know, with the normal things that you'd expect. Assortment of food, drinks, spirits, etc. If you want it, it's there. That will be taking place on the lawn.
➜ At one end of the table there's actually a place card for the guy, but he won't be showing up, unfortunately. Fortunately for him, since some residents seem more the stab and maim first, ask questions later type. But his place won't be empty. For the first time since her first appearance, which it's been a while since we've seen her for those more older residents and players who've been around a while, will be an old NPC that we haven't seen in a while be available for discussion, which she's willing to answer more questions than the big guy in the house will. That's all you get to know about that!
The second part of the mini event will be something else you expect, but more so from the holiday and not the host: an easter egg hunt!
➜ Off to the side, away from the milling feet and dirty plates of the dinner guests, there will be an easter egg hunt, advertised with prizes involved on a banner in the garden area. Prizes is a very loose term, however, since there will be a multitude of different things found in the eggs, with the list possibly growing. More on that in a bit. As of now, though, what can be found in eggs are as follows.Cash receipts in increments of $5, $50, and $100 dollars.
Various assortments of chocolate.
Foods.
Animals. Like actual, living, grown animals.
Rotten yolk from unfertilized bird eggs (no animals were harmed in the making of this event).
Trash.
Clothing (it can be as ridiculous or nice as you'd like
This is basically your chance to make out like a bandit without recourse, but within reason!
Here is the good part, though! In order to attend the easter egg hunt, you must sign up, though there isn't a fancy form this time. Just say something like "X, X, and X are coming!" and you're entered. There will be certain randomized prizes for lucky egg hunters, which will be the following:Five eggs containing $500 receipts.
5 eggs containing regains (the item your character desires, not like an IOU so when you are replied to, you'll be asked to reply with the item).

Local businesses, you say? Yes! If you'd like for your business to be included, go to this thread here and fill out the form! This can be anything from 50% off to free merchandise. Whatever you'd like and is appropriate for your business.
➜ The puzzle pieces, however, are a little bit more secretive and mysterious. Six people will be messages with a link to an image of the puzzle piece they'll receive in an egg. You and your player won't have too big an idea what it's for, or what it means until later. Just consider it a spooky clue for future events. The names of the six characters, as well as the other special prize winners, will appear on the log post for this event. You as players and then characters can try to work out the puzzle, a frame of which will be provided to you, and once it is solved both icly and oocly, you can show off the finished piece to the community. It's not really Easter themed, I can tell you this much.
➜ Everyone will be dropped in the Landlord's garden at 12PM CST on Easter Sunday, but are free to leave the party if they wish. Instead of the hard to find and navigate path, a terrace-covered cobblestone one has replaced it leading right into the housing district.
➜ For those who signed up to be waiters and Easter bunnies, you'll arrive in your uniforms.
➜ Also, in the spirit of the season, the theater has updated its movie selection.
Questions can be addressed in this thread and Easter egg hunt sign ups are, again, here. Businesses who'd like their wares showcased, please go here! The randomized winners will be replied to before the event, so please get your sign ups in fast!
