Haha... so I'll make things official instead of stressing over it - I'll be taking a hiatus until my summer class finishes (July 3rd) since I don't have the time to do anything else but study and sleep whenever possible.

This effects both Kururu here and Ted ([personal profile] itinerare). Sorry for the inconvenience!

Whoops, I never announced hiatus, but things got really hectic for a bit there. Anyway, I'm back now and will post an intro as soon as I get caught up!

Yyyeah, so, I guess it's best I stop dragging my feet on this and just kind of admit it. Ever since moving, I just haven't had my heart in the game. I don't think my activity was ever as good as it could have been, but I did try. These last few months, though, I haven't bothered.... pretty much at all.

Thing is, I've had Cyril in game for about a year now! So, it was a hard decision. But, my heart's just not there anymore. I'm really sorry to my cast and anyone Cyril had cr with, but he's finally going home to Melbourne. Petunia and Mikado, I assume you'll be fine with the dogs and... well I guess his guns are sticking around??? Have fun with that??? Yeah.

It was nice while it lasted, but I guess his time in Holly Heights has just come to end. Thanks for all the fish, HH! You guys are awesome.

ACTIVITY CHECK ➜ JUNE

From now on, Activity Check will run through the last week of the month. There are several reasons for this:

➜ Because AC used to run through the first week, it meant that apps were closed as AC closed. This left houses sparse and kept people from apping dropped character for a whole month. With AC at the last of the month, during reserves, it means that those who have been swept are eligible to be apped in. This increases character turn over, especially for popular characters, and can dispel squatting. There will be a rule that those swept during AC may not immediately app back in.

➜ It will also help with the application cycle in general. Instead of waiting to accept apps until I sweep characters and see what housing slots need to be filled via priority, this eliminates that all together and means late-in apps can be dealt with faster instead of waiting until apps have closed.

I think that this will make it both easier on me, new applicants, and will increase the character flow and activity. Because of these changes, here is how AC will work this time around:

➜ It's a simple check in. Simply reply with your characters journals in written format. No activity is required to be posted this time around, simply the journal name. This alerts me that you're still interested and that you know of the changes.

For this round only, AC will last for two weeks. That means if you're not expecting AC until July 1st, then you'll be okay. This also means the full effect of these changes will hit next AC.

Strikes from the previous month will roll over into July.

Thank you!
