The details on this are going to be very sketchy, but for a good reason! Here are some details of a little event that has come via popular demand: this Halloween, Holly Heights will experience a murder mystery.

For the event there will need to be multiple volunteers! There will be 5-6 victims and 1-2 murders. In order to volunteer for these positions, please keep reading to see the specifics of what you will have to do and things to think about.

In order to volunteer to be a victim, here is what you need to consider:

➜ Inactivity. Your character will have to remain dead for an extended period of time, no more than 10-14 days, leaning towards 10. You will only have to make half AC because of this, so don't worry about being completely lost when it comes to staying in the game.
➜ Victims will have to be, you know, murdered so it would be preferable that they were not macho, undefeatable characters.

In order to volunteer as a murder, here is what you need to consider:

➜ Your character should have the physical ability to kill someone. Not the mental. Just the physical.
➜ The more unexpected, the better. It's fine to sign up a character that's a murderer or creepy or violent! But ICly, it makes sense that those who are more deductive will point fingers at them first. So it's more fun and makes for more reasoning when the murderer isn't a usual suspect.
➜ The murderer will have no recollection of their murdering people. This will be via something the landlord sends them that makes them commit the crime and then forget it. If your character would not open anything from the landlord, then do not bother.
➜ Negative CR will most likely happen. Even though you didn't mean to do it! It was the landlord! Your character has still killed multiple other characters and people may not view them too sweetly.
➜ DO NOT TELL ANYONE, ANYONE, THAT YOUR CHARACTER GOT PICKED TO BE A MURDERER.

How to sign up for either category:

➜ Send an email to hollyheights@outlook.com with your character's name and the position you'd want in the subject (ie Kanata - Victim; don't worry, I won't be hogging a slot though!). In the email, it's fine to put whatever, but please include a preferred method of contact! You'll see why in a little bit.
➜ IF YOU DO NOT PUT 'YOUR CHARACTER - POSITION' AS THE SUBJECT, YOU WILL BE IGNORED.

How the event will work (as much as I can tell you right now):

➜ The opening to the event will be displayed in a response locked post on the network. After this, several posts containing clues in the form of the landlord hinting at who did it, pictures posted, and other things will be posted which will lead you to the culprit(s).
➜ A post will be put up for people to guess the culprit on. Guess wrong and I will tell you, so keep guessing until I tell you you've got it correct! Remember, though, deductions will be IC! So even if you figure it out, if your character wouldn't, then that is what you go with.
➜ Remember, I am no blood splatter analyst, so over deducing a certain blood pattern on a picture may not lead you down the right path! Don't worry, though, as the clues will be fairly obvious, just don't think too forensically. The clues will be more process of elimination than Law & Order, Dexter style crime solving. The clues will coincide with the victims and the murders themselves, so this includes physicality, hair colour/style/length, etc.
➜ Dates are not solid yet, and things will have to be discussed with the randomly selected volunteers from the pool. Dates will try not to clash, though, with our ball event that will happen every Halloween and through October.
