Miles "enjoys long walks on beaches" Edgeworth
Remember this? Well, due to some changes and me getting sick this week and reeling from another midterm (so many essay questions...), the log will be moved ahead by a few days - just a few! But it will still be dated for Jan. 30. So I'll just run through what else we need.

- DANCING LOBSTERS

- Since Eiki dropped, we'll be using an NPC judge. He's probably pretty malleable which opens up an opportunity for...

- A jury! That's right. More people were game for a jury, so I'll be taking signups. First 12 characters who are above 18 to sign up get the slots. Take note that if your character is already a witness or involved in the trial in some other way, they cannot be a jury member. Characters must also be free from biases - that means if you live with someone who was killed that day or you're friends with them or colleagues, you're out, I'm afraid. Knowing a victim's name in passing is okay. One character per mun as much as possible, but if we go too long without a full set of 12, then I'll allow second characters. The log will have a jury thread for all your jury-tastic deliberations if you want to thread them out.

- We will also need a new defense attorney so stay tuned for that! And speaking of staying tuned...

- I will be firing off a private plurk to the witnesses, lawyers, assistant and our defendant. There, we'll compile what our characters will be saying (just a summary will do) and the evidence picked up during the murder mystery (Miles has a copy of the very first TV transmission, thank you Mistah Landlord). We're not going to write scripts here, we'll just iron out what will happen in the threads. After that, I will relay the stuff to the jury members. The voting will be done on a poll that will be attached to the log along with the summary of the proceedings. Vote as your characters would.

- we really need characters to dress up as dancing lobsters for after the trial

KEY PLAYERS:
- Snow Villiers (accused)
- Miles Edgeworth (prosecutor)
- Maya Fey (prosecutor's assistant GASP MAYA YOU JUMPED SHIP - )
- (insert defense attorney here)
- Gau Meguro (victim)
- Japan (witness/okay he's also a victim but Snow didn't kill him)
- Kyouko Kirigiri (witness/investigator)
- Tieria Erde (witness/investigator)

If you still want to be a witness, however, it's not too late to sign up as one! Or as a dancing lobster

- If you still have any questions, suggestions, or pasta, please let me know! I am reachable via [plurk.com profile] auste (isn't that easy to remember?) and alternately you can add me for fun times, beware of copious Ace Attorney and school plurks, etc.
