Aradia will be (mostly) out of people's hair for the next few weeks while I try not to cry over the workload for very imminent exams. I'll try to get to tags that I have sitting in my inbox, though, so pls forgive any atrocious backtags that may be thrown your way?!

MINI YEARBOOK THING

Okay so school will be getting out on the 13th and a school log will go up on the 1st. Some insider info for you.

But anyway, the reason I'm making this post is because Haine, as acting Student Council What-Does-She-Even-Do? person, she's taking it upon herself to make a book for everyone that's like a yearbook.

This post needs two things! IC cooperation and OOC cooperation!

ICly, she would need people to take pictures and stuff for the yearbook as well as collect quotes and everything, which she'll do some of this herself. It can be StuCo, random students, random adults, as long as they'd be into it since she's not really a roper. Concretely, she'll need at least two photographers, someone who can actually work a computer, and another person who'll go around asking questions about school and etc. You can of course make your own logs for this or a big joint one! I don't care. How will they even print this out and get it to people? Magic, spit, and prayers.

OOCly, the layout would be like a minimalist muselist code, separating people by grade (unless you're a teacher then you'll just be in that section) and in alphabetical order. It'd be put on the log comm and when it goes up, you make your own separate comment much like a meme. People can sign it like that, anonymously if they want, or you can log out a yearbook shenanigan. Multi-purpose!

Also, OOCly, the muselist coding would be icon based. So if you are a student or teacher please fill out the following form. If you don't then I'll just go down the list and pick whatever icon I want and I'll make it an ugly to spite you tbh.

There's a thread for interested parties but just reply to the entry with your little form!

I wanted to make an ooc post for this, after officially dropping from the game, as this has been a difficult decision for me. I was making it to 7 months here, and have quite a bit of cr. Most people know I teach abroad in China, sadly my time here has become worse. I have some problems with my company and school that are making me frustrated and angry more often than not, and that isn't the kind of mood to be in for Holly Heights. That, and as reserves just went up I don't want to be in the way if anyone wanted to app.

England would have taken part in the paintball events that were up thus far, so if you'd like to handwave anything for that let me know. He was in the pink team.

Hopefully when I get home in 6-8 weeks this will change and I'll be refreshed to come back, but for now this is a goodbye.

ACTIVITY CHECK ➜ MAY

Activity Check will run through the last week of May. Activity can be from April 24th through May 31st. Please use activity posted before this week unless you are stretched and must use a proof from reserve week.

SOME NOTES ON AC
Here are a couple of not so crystal clear rules about what is and is not activity. It's never been strictly laid out like this before since it seems a little obvious, but just in case, here's what does and doesn't qualify for AC / tag count starting this AC:

➜ If you used a thread or post in a previous AC you may not use that thread/post again. In short terms, if I've seen it before, I do not want to see it again. Even if you tagged a post 100 more times, I want to see two new proofs of activity. Not an old one with new stuff added on.

➜ With open logs, you may use more than one thread from the same log but they must have different characters in them. For example, from our recent island log, you may use an Island 08 thread and an Island 12 thread to make or combine for AC, but if in both threads you're threading with the same character, you can only choose one.

➜ Do not alter the form you are given to post AC with. This makes it so much easier for me to go through and for others/yourself if you need to reference them.

➜ Forms now have a place for a comment count. Please do not leave these off. Please use these to do the math for yourself. If you have a comment count of 3 and a comment count of 4 for post threads, these do not add up to 10 thus they do not count.

➜ Finally, and this is newly decided, comment spams will only count for one comment. This is an example of what I mean. Kanata would only have one comment AC wise here even though he made five different comments.

Please provide two (2) proofs of activity in one the following forms:

➜ A post either on the network or the log community. A post counts if you have put it up and replied to comments on it as of when you post it. Please do not use a post with no replies from you as proof.

➜ Network post comments equaling to 10. It can be a thread with 10 comments from you, three threads with 3+3+4 comments from you. Enough to equal 10.

➜ Log post comments equaling to 5. It can be a thread with 5 comments from you, two threads with 3+2 comments from you, etc. Enough to equal 5.

➜ Mailbox post comments equaling to 15. It can be a thread with 15 comments from you, two threads with 9+6 comments from you, etc. Enough to equal 15.

If your character was accepted during the month of May.

➜ Any of the above with only one proof. You must make half of normal AC to stay in the game. This can include a post, 10 post comments, 5 log comments, OR 15 mailbox comments, not a combination of the two.

You are exempt from the activity check if you:

➜ Posted any hiatus during April 24th through May 31st that lasted a week or more. There isn't a need to comment here if so, but if you'd like to pop in and say something OR if you have enough to post to AC anyway, feel free. Also, if you discuss a hiatus with me personally, it always helps to post it somewhere anyways just so I don't overlook it.

➜ Post with a strike. Simply reply with the form but instead of dates and links, put STRIKE. This is for those that wish to continue playing but don't have enough activity to make it this month. If you ask for a strike the next month, you will be removed from the game. If you make AC the next month, then your strike will be negated. If you take a strike and then hiatus the next month, your strike will roll over with you whenever you are next active.

Please do not post AC for others without their express permission. If someone would like to idle out by not responding to the AC, then that is their own business, and not the place of others to show activity for them.

Do not post activity until it is complete. You have a week to complete activity, so don't dilly dally! Please fill out the following form for each character you have. Feel free to put multiple characters in one comment. You have until the beginning of the new month to post, then you will be removed from the game. There will be no exceptions.

hiatus

HELLO hello hi Turtle here with a hiatus announcement. Basically I'm going to be on holiday in Japan until the 4th of June so expect backtags around that day or later. This effects Murasa, Tsugumi, and Narancia.

... That's about it!
