AND THE COOKIE CRUMBLES

➜ This will be a punishment/reward event. Meaning that you can be punished and rewarded based on what you do. Well, not can. Will. It's kind of unavoidable this time, really.

➜ On the 14th at noon, everyone (who wishes to participate) will receive a metal tin with six different gourmet cookies. Inside will also be a letter which they should probably read before eating. If you're smart and not a pig, you will, and this is what it will basically contain.

➜ Instead of eating these, you are supposed to give these out to friends, family, or strangers. If you give these out to strangers and receive some for yourself, there is a guarantee that you will definitely be rewarded with a great prize!

➜ Of the cookies in the tin there are six types: chocolate chip cookie, sugar, oatmeal raisin, white chocolate macadamia nut, peanut butter, and frosted, one of each. They are to give out at least one cookie each if they don't want to be severely punished.

This is what your character will know, but I'll give you a bit more details for your own sake.

➜ For each cookie, a different punishment and reward applies. One will go to the recipient and one will go to the giver. Three cookies offer a pay out of giving the recipient a gift and punishing the giver and the other three do the opposite: punishing the cookie-getter and rewarding the giver. The cookies that do so are as follows:
    giver reward | recipient punishment
    chocolate chip
    sugar
    oatmeal raisin

    recipient reward | giver punishment
    white chocolate macadamia nut
    peanut butter
    frosted cookies

This is so you have a better grasp on what cookies you'd like to give to who for plotting.

➜ The other thing is that neither you nor your characters will know what the punishments and gifts are until after the event when they will be revealed to you and take effect and will last throughout the rest of the month. To those that give out even one cookie the Landlord will give them a gift for being obedient. For those who wish to partake in the event but do not give out any cookies or eat any cookies themselves, the Landlord will bestow three day incapacitation after the event ends. Their bodies will be left in their homes and they will be entirely lifeless like they are dead. Rest in peace, whomever you are, you dingus...

➜ Also, each cookie offers a different punishment and reward so there will be six unique punishments and six unique rewards. They will have various levels of severity (for example it can range from being worth $1 to being worth $10000 and the punishments can be as bad on a scale from stubbing your toe to getting stabbed in the chest. But that's just a scale example; no punishments will involve death or torture, promise!)

IMPORTANT Now, I can see the questions coming already. What if my character doesn't eat the cookie? What if they give a cookie they themselves have been given? To the first question, eating it isn't what counts. Just coming in contact does! Declining the gift won't result in a punishment, and also won't result in a reward and that goes both ways. It is still givable to someone else, though! But as soon as the cookie is accepted (which can be as simple as just taking the cookie in your hand), the punishment/reward falls upon both parties. Giving that cookie to someone else will not count in either sense.

➜ In order to sign up, just reply to the post with a blank comment and your characters name and house number in the subject heading. As always, questions can be addressed in the question thread! A CR meme should go up shortly which also holds options for cookies.
