EGGCELLENT

This April, Holly Heights will be treated to a late Easter Egg Hunt. There will be nine basic eggs to be found that offer either an effect or character change (six) or that offer cash prizes (three). One other egg type offers a regain and another offers a special event something-or-other. Ready to find out the types?

➜ Red eggs are monstrous eggs. Instead of inflicting the finder with rage, the egg will become enraged instead. Red eggs will fly out of the hand of those who find them and make a beeline for their target: whomever they see first asides from the person who found them. The egg will not rest until it is either smashed by someone or smashes into the target. There IS a safety word for the eggs that renders them harmless. "Cake decorating".

➜ Yellow eggs can give egg hunters sensory or skill removal. If you'd like your character to find one of these eggs, either one of their senses or skills would then be taken from them. A good example would be one of our 1839920 sport's anime characters being unable to arm wrestle, mini golf, or power lift like they used to.

➜ Blue eggs are both sticky and magnetic. Finding a blue egg will sync a character up with another character holding a blue egg. Once held, blue eggs will not allow characters to let go. They will remain stuck together until midnight.

➜ Pink eggs are either truth or lie serum eggs. Characters who find these eggs will be committed to either telling lies until midnight or speaking the absolute truth. Characters can't get out of this by being cagey or unresponsive. Every hour on the hour, characters will say one truth or lie without being prompted.

➜ Orange eggs are house switching eggs. Finders of the orange egg will find themselves transported to a random (icly random, anyway) house and will be unable to leave for the rest of the day

➜ Purple is the costume change egg. Purple eggs will make characters wear, by force, either a french maid costume, a beaver costume, or a sex clown costume. All outfits will be fitted for a woman, regardless of the gender of the egg hunter.

➜ Gold eggs contain $100 receipts.

➜ Silver eggs contain $1000 receipts.

➜ Green eggs contain $10,000 receipts.

➜ Striped eggs contain regains. These will magically make any item your character desires, whether originally theirs or not, appear at their doorstep. They may not notice these things until after they hunt their eggs.

➜ One large egg (about the size of a small infant) will be hidden every day. This egg contains an item that will be discussed in the top level of each log thread throughout the event. The item might be terrifying, hilarious, or in between. The object of characters is to find all the large eggs. When RPing, only one character may claim finding the egg on each day. So first come, first serve when it comes to large egg finding.

➜ On April 14th, all residents will get a letter stating that based on the eggs they find hidden around Holly Heights, they will receive a certain amount of cash. This is, in fact, true. Tally up the eggs your character finds and wait until the end of the event to see how much money they really got away with. Each egg type is associated with a sum of money that won't be revealed until then UNLESS they find a money egg.

➜ Please note that this is the only incentive truly present. If you have a character who won't be so active, try to get them to be pulled in by another character. This goes for pretty much all non-forced events: sometimes you need to work to make things work.

➜ Each character can find five eggs a day. Any eggs after that will be spit out of their baskets (also provided by the LL). If a character decides to use their shirt or something, the eggs will either hop out or disappear.

➜ Only the FIRST egg picked up by a hunter will cause the effect. If Italy picks up 1 red egg, 2 green eggs, and 2 purple eggs, the red egg will be the only egg to have any effect on him. ALL EGGS WILL COUNT FOR MONEY.

➜ Try to keep finding the large egg away from one clique. If you want a bunch of people who have CR or are in the same canon to find an egg, let them group up and find it and allow for other in-game groups to also share the spot light. Also, if a character has found a big egg, they can't find one again. If by THREE DAYS the egg still hasn't been claimed, this rule is taken away for that specific day.

➜ Eggs will be hard and very sparse, hidden in all areas of Holly Heights, and can be very obvious or very well concealed. They CAN be hidden in houses. No breaking and entering! Or you can, whatever.

➜ For one last big twist, don't think your character will catch on. A few times during the event, egg effects WILL SWITCH. This is more for IC shenanigans than OOC. This way a character won't think "hmm, I hate those pink eggs. Let's not touch those!" You WILL be told when effects switch.

Any questions can be addressed here!

OH, RIGHT

hh will be three come may first, yay go us, whooooooo

GREEN WITH (INSERT SOMETHING HERE)

This Holly Heights event will be luck and chance related both in game and how the event will be set up.

➜ This Holly Heights event will be luck and chance related both in game and how the event will be set up.

➜ In this particular event, players will have to come up with five unlucky things and five lucky things for their characters to experience. These can be either permanent (for the event) or only last a certain amount of time. For example, a lucky occurrence could be "Makishima finds five dollars on the ground everywhere he goes" and an unlucky event could be "Lily goes bald for three days".

➜ What's the point of this creativity? On specific days throughout the event, a roulette wheel of chance will spin and characters will have to experience these events in game. The specific days for these events will be the 14th, the 17th, the 19th, the 22nd, and the 25th.

➜ If you don't get the gist, here's a good example that shows what will happen:

Let's say that Makoto has five unlucky and five lucky events associated with him and they are written in a sign up comment. On the 14th, the comment will be replied to with a determination of whether this is a lucky day or an unlucky day for him, meaning one of the events will be triggered. Here are some examples from this hypothetical list:

UNLUCKY
14th: Breaks a bone
17th: A friend becomes mad at him for a few days

LUCKY
14th: Someone he likes kisses him
17th: He is gifted with a pie

On the 14th, the comment will read something like "Congrats! Today's your lucky day! You'll be kissed by someone you like." Today has been a lucky day for Makoto. This event can happen ANYTIME during the event itself.

On the 17th, Makoto will then experience an unlucky day; "Oops. Looks like your luck isn't that great. You'll make a friend angry somehow." Hopefully the specific example helps you understand the event a little better.

➜ For those who can't come up with a concrete set of pratfalls and highs, you can also help make some general wacky scenarios of your own. Go to this comment and contribute some unlucky events and some lucky ones that can be randomized for those who can't come up with anything or would rather see their characters go through something a little more spotty. If you aren't comfortable or can't work with the event that you were given, simply ignore it. Try to be malleable, though.

➜ The events that you choose CAN be specific to certain characters, both in your own sign ups and in the event creation thread, but only with player permission. For instance, you can't go and put "Nagisa blows you" in the event creation comment section unless that player says yes, Nagisa is a sex freak and would gladly blow anybody. Just as an example.

➜ Signing up requires filling out a form and commenting in TWO places.

First: comment here with only your name in the subject line and the comment blank. This is where mods will tell you about your fortune for the day. This is so you can edit your event comments freely. Do NOT forget to make a response comment or you cannot participate.

Second: comment to this thread with the following form. You don't have to come up with all events immediately, but you SHOULD get them in as the days pass. Your 14th events should be in your comment before the 14th gets here (CST).

➜ If you want to use randomized player made events, just simply put the word RANDOM in place of an event.

➜ Any questions should be directed here!

THE STATE OF SHIT

➜ People still haven't gotten their gift paid accounts. Totally my bad. I get paid on Friday and will be giving out six instead of three. For real this time. Pinky promise.

➜ Also, some Things happen and I kind of let the LL inbox slip a little. ICly, the Landlord was on a gay cruise and will come back home to answer all his mail ASAP.

FLOWER POWER PART II

This event will require signups, randomization, and lotsa love.

Here's what will happen on the 12th:

➜ In honour of Valentines day, everyone's favourite property owner is giving you a gift. Well, a gift that you can give. Each person will be awarded a bouquet, though a small one. Those that don't sign up will get a bouquet of holly. Those that do sign up will receive a bouquet of four roses.

➜ Each rose bouquet can contain a large variety of rose colours. Well, as big a variety four roses can contain. Of course, though, there's always a catch. Tied to the roses via a string are two small scrolls of paper. One we'll get to later and will also be attached to the holly bouquets. The one specifically assigned to the roses contains a message from the Landlord himself:

My gift to you requires a little work. Re-gift all these roses and you'll receive a little something from me. A familiar something.
-Your Landlord

This meaning that in order to get you need to give. AKA regain event.

➜ This is a forced effect event. BUT unlike the 2013 V-day event, the meanings are going to be switched up. This means that your character, if they were here then, won't be able to know which meanings belong to which rose. They might say that they want to avoid giving red roses because of the love thing but it's all for naut because the blue roses actually do it this time. This still means that the roses each do something different. Here are the types of roses and their effects:

RED stands for Hatred. Easily explained as you hate the fucking cocksucker that gave you this god damn rose.

PURPLE stands for Annoyance. This is one of the two negative effect roses. What is this freak giving you a rose for?! Everything the giver does irritates you.

PINK stands for Flirtatious Love. Basically the cheesy pick up line rose.

YELLOW (though the roses will be more yellow than this) stands for Erotic Love. You can probably guess what this one means. You can take this to an extreme but the basic effect will be attraction.

WHITE (grey so you can see the text, but roses will be white) stands for Admirative Love. The senpai noticed me rose. Asking for praise and attention is basically what this rose does.

BLUE stands for Romantic Love. This is your typical fall in love with the giver rose.

LAVENDER stands for Friendship Love. You'll now be clingy and jealous towards the giver of this rose. No one can take your friend from you!

ORANGE stands for Familial Love. You're protective of the giver of this rose. You might even act childish or overly familiar with them.

When a resident gives another resident a rose, the colour of the rose given gives them the corresponding effect. For example, character A gives character B a red rose. Character B receives that effect while Character A does not.

➜ One character can give more than one rose to another character. Character A gives Character B a red AND a black rose. This would result in various mood swings from one effect to the other. An effect overload can take an extreme toll on the recipients psyche, though this will be resolved when the event is over, just that the character will be left with a hideous headache from emotional overload.

➜ A character can receive flowers from more than one person. Character A gives character B a red rose but Character C gives them a yellow rose! These effects only work on the people that the rose is received from. So Character C will feel loving towards A and flirtatious towards B, but normal towards everyone else.

➜ To spice things up, when you sign up for the event, simply fill out the form in response to the sign up thread. When you do that, an assortment of four roses will be given to your character. This means that you can get any four random colours, or maybe even two of the same one! Who knows. The form does give you some semblance of choice so that you can say I don't want x rose but please keep it to a minimum.

On the day the event is over with, on the 23rd, those who have given out all their flowers will have their gifts delivered to their houses. There will be a post up, much like how the Christmas event went, that you will reply to when you've given up all your flowers. Filling out the form means you did it and you'll receive your regain.

Comments can be addressed in this thread and sign ups are, again, here. Kitty and Sonia i'm sure will put up a planning post or something, give them a round of applause.

THIS MEANS WAR III: THE LASER TAG EDITION

The event is pretty simple in theory but a little more complicated in mechanics. Simply put it's a snowball war paintball fight laser tag extravaganza.

for your life.

Not really, sort of, but here's how it works:

➜ if you feel the deja vu, it's probably because this is similar to the January 2013 and the paintball event! They were big successes and it's time to pit the Holly Heighters against each other again in a similar fashion.

➜ There will be four teams taking part in this snowball war: blue, green, red, and purple. For this event we'll be doing team sign ups because the taken list is really fucked right now (my bad). I trust that you won't leave the teams unbalanced so if there could be a bit of communication among the player base about cast factions and which groups will take which color, please be my guest and I would appreciate this. If you have five characters, two may be on the same team but if you have four or less they must ALL BE ON DIFFERENT TEAMS.

➜ Starting on the 15th, there will be 6 battles played in a versus like fashion. To ensure you have a chance to tag everyone and anyone you would like, each team will play each time. Every two days a new battle will begin, meaning that the battle will take place on the 15th, 16th is an off day, then another one will happen on the 17th.

The scheduled battles are as such:
16th: Blue vs. Purple [ School ]
18th: Red vs. Blue [ Businesses ]
20th: Purple vs. Green [ Forest ]
22nd: Blue vs. Green [ Forest ]
24th: Red vs. Green [ Businesses ]
26th: Red vs. Purple [ School ]

➜ But how does this all go down? Unlike the snowball event, there won't be a lot of change. As the schedule above shows, the fights will take place in HH without a new setting. If you're on a team that day, such as a Purple team member on the 120th, then you'll be magicked to that area listed next to the match. Your team will be on one side of the area and the other team will be on the other side. The goal of the battle is to hit each person from the other team with your laser equippment which will be provided to you upon waking up.

➜ ICly the rules are as such: it's pretty much like dodgeball. Once the playing characters have been transported to the field, they will be magically adorned with an armband of their teams colour as well as their laser tag guns and vests with their teams colour. Once they have been hit with a laser gun, their armband will disappear, meaning they are hit. Once an entire team loses all of their armbands, they lose, and the other team is the winner. This really doesn't matter too much considering the winner of the game will be randomized on the day the log is put up, so it's perfectly reasonable to not want to play your badass, paintball champion character losing to some wimpy person that can't even shoot straight in a thread, and just because your team is "chosen" to lose doesn't mean you need to not be IC in this matter. You can just pretend a stray paintball hit their shin and they were out or something. Just have fun with it and don't give the winnings too much mind. Also, team hits don't count, only hits that come from a different team.

➜ If you don't want to participate, you can have your character not show up simply ignore signing up. They can just go about their business, wander onto the field as a pedestrian. Who cares.

➜ Also, since these matches take place in and around Holly Heights, you are free to reply to log threads that don't have anything to do with, such as a student being in the 16th thread because they're at school!

➜ The incentive this time is written on a banner at the base camp of each team in each place: Win the tournament to ??????. written largely and with the above rules written out. There won't be much of a clue as to what you're playing for. The winner of the tournament will be randomly decided BUT don't let that get you down! All teams will get consolation prizes, which may or may not be better than the actual grand prize. Those will be revealed on a post on the 28th.

➜ For right now, feel free to converse among yourself about this but there will be two threads below to make sure that this is as realistic and inclusive oocly and icly as possible: each team will have a thread in which four team captains can volunteer on a first come first serve basis. When the teams arrive with their bands, the team captains will have it written on theirs. Another thread will be for choosing a team name. Simply suggest a name for your team and the name with the most plus ones will be chosen to represent your team. If it's a tie or there's no plus ones, it will just be randomly decided or whichever I think is more painful.

➜ Game wise, there will be one large log post for this whole event, with sub threads for each versus battle. In the comment will include Blank vs Blank and who has been selected to win. These threads can be for team interactions, open ended Tag me! threads, team member against team member interactions, or even interactions from bystanders. Have fun with it, there's no limit to what you can do! But please state your team or lack-thereof in the subject.

➜ As another note, the first couple of times might be a little confusing to characters, but after they get the gist, feel free to make team filtered posts to strategize, agree on team outfits/uniforms, etc. if you'd like to get really into it. Also, if you'd like not to participate, feel free to just go about posting as usual.

➜ As always, questions go here!

OR HOW I LEARNED TO LOVE THE LANDLORD

➜ Do you remember in school when you'd probably pile into the audiotorium and some douche in suspenders would talk to you about how GRRRREEEEEAT!!!!! supporting your school was. Then you'd go back to class and get some catalog of really good-looking food that was really over priced and if you sold, idk, 200000 items you might get to ride in a limo or win a Nintendo?

That's basically what this is.

➜ See, the holidays are a time of giving and also SELL, SELL, SELL!!!!ing. Each inhabitant of Holly Heights will receive the mystical...

HOLLY HEIGHTS WINTER FESTIVITIES CATALOG

Hopefully the prices are reasonable. Just like in elementary school, you have to pimp out as much of this stuff as possible. There is an incentive card that comes with the catalog as well that bears the cheery phrase "Sell to save yourself." Merry Christmas!!!!

➜ The other incentive is gifts. If your character reads the instructions in the catalog, which without reading them the images won't appear inside, it will tell you that based on what items and how many you sell, you'll receive luxury rewards. These will be separated into A, B, C, D, and E and what tier of gift you work up to will be based on points assigned to each item and category. The points will be in increments of 25, until you hit E tier. So A is 25 points, B is 50 points, C is 75 points, D is 100 points. E will jump up to 200. These gifts won't be revealed until later.

➜ There will be a post to keep track of your sales for two reasons
➜ One. Several specific items are rigged with effects, both good and bad. These will not be known until the New Year. So make sure in your comment on the post you list who you sold what to. It would be preferred that you list the specific item but if Character A says "Hey, cis scum, buy some shit from me." and Character B says "Okay, just sell me whatever, you trash.", make sure to be realistic in your recording and you can work out later if you'd like for the effects to...effect hem.

➜ Two. As a bigger scale reward, if the people of Holly Heights can surpass 1500 points, they will receive a gift or something. So keeping your totals up to date is suggested. The math isn't that hard.
➜ Like most events we've had of this nature, in order for your submission to count, you have to provide proof of at least three transactions. This can be a completed thread, a thread in progress, or a thread assumed to be completed. Other transactions can be played out or handwaved while still counting.

➜ The ordering process will work as such: when another character decides to make a transaction, which will happen like all Holly Heights purchases, the items they order will show up wrapped in their mail box with a to and from sticker which has their name and who they ordered from. Each person has a never ending supply of products to give out. Also, as stated in the instructions, ordering from yourself will result in a massive outbreak of hives and puss filled blisters.

➜ The event starts on the 13th and goes through the 26th!

➜ In other news, there will be a post about the annual IC Secret Santa on the 14th. BUT. There will be a thread for you to report to IF you do not want to participate. This can be for any reason you wish, especially for those of us on hiatus. This is to quell people being signed up automatically and then someone is stuck with a dude for a Secret Santa gift giver or giftee. Please make sure to list all characters who won't be involved.

➜ There will also be a more personal post tomorrow about some Things (nothing huge I swear), so watch out for that.

➜ I probably forgot something because I'm tired af. As always, questions go here!

[ MUFFLED LAVENDER TOWN MUSIC PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND ]

➜ Because of the holidays being, well, the holidays, the event is extended until December. I'm sure a lot of you, myself included, have been a little too preoccupied with either Thanksgiving prep or other holiday related festivities to fully utilize the event or your time, so have an extra few days!

➜ In honour of American Thanksgiving, Holly Heights will also now be inundated with wild flying-type Pokemon. Any and all can be seen flying and landing, scooping you up in their big pouch-y bills or leaving messes on your car. They can be defeated or kept or just be a nuisance. Also, you can meet the Landlord again.

➜ Notifs are a bit spotty for me in general, whether it's mod stuff or tags, I don't seem to get some stuff. So if I've left anything of yours unanswered, please message or private plurk my personal plurk about it. I don't mean to ignore anyone!

➜ Also, because I am about to turkey coma, AC list stuff will be done tomorrow, early in the morning. Don't forget to get your AC in!

[ MUFFLED LAVENDER TOWN MUSIC PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND ]

➜ This will be the first of sprinkled setting change events that have to do with universe adjustment (which more info will come out about that during the event as it has been previously alluded to) and will also introduce NPC participation into events. So there's that.

➜ Let's make this short and sweet: this will be a full fledged Pokemon event, like the floors used in a previous event. I'm too lazy to get the accent over the e so you get what you get.

➜ For each riddle answered correctly will be a possible Pokemon you can have on your team. So, in the event you answered five riddles, four of which are correct, you will receive four Pokemon eggs in the mail.

➜ Pokemon can be of any type, number, and each person is allotted the ability to have one shiny. They will hatch the day that you get them on the stoop, which all the eggs you receive will come in a basket labeled with your name. Also, you don't have to pick from only egg-types. Live a little and pick legendaries, third stage evolution. Whatever you'd like.

➜ The event will last long enough that you can get some Pokemon eggs out of the deal. If you know how Pokemon breeding works, then feel free to take advantage of this! All bred Pokemon are going to leave at the same time the other Pokemon received will, though, so don't get too attached!

➜ If you have no idea how Pokemon work and don't care to be enthralled with the details, think about it in the sense that you will have cute pets with personalities that can cause destruction, maybe make good pillows, heat your coffee, give you a rash. The world is your oyster!

➜ You can find all the Pokemon information you need at Bulbapedia. Types, sprites, information.

➜ While this event is mostly fueled by player-involved shenanigans, there may be opportunities for you to participate in bigger things that pop up during the event, like dungeon exploring, wild Pokemon rampages. You'll see posts about these things when they happen, won't involve signing up, and you can hop in and out.

➜ If you're worried about your character being clueless, all characters will receive a guidebook with your basic Pokemon information, like breeding, battling, and proper Pokemon care. Everyone gets an assortment of berries as well as an assortment of health remedies. Other than that, no items will be given out (unless it's in the case of a sub event as mentioned above).

➜ Players can of course battle their Pokemon! If you would like to have a fully fair battle, there will be a battle randomization thread if you feel like the battle is too even and would like a third party to decide the winner.

➜ As a side note, because I made the riddles, I feel it fair that my two characters get half of their party so I can participate but not have a full party since that seems a little shady, no? Hopefully this is fair to you!

➜ You will receive your Pokemon on the 17th and they'll stick around until the 28th. If you'd like to not participate in the event, ignore my response to your riddle comments. If you would like to participate but didn't comment, go do so! You can comment any time until the event is in swing on the 22nd. After that, no more comments unless you've been on hiatus.

➜ This is a very bare bones explanation, so feel free to tell me I missed something. A log for the event, which is optional and more for your convenience instead of having a set purpose, will go up on the 17th signalling the start of the event. You do not have to report your Pokemon to the post or to anyone but it is advised you keep a list of them and their genders and other information you'd like somewhere.

➜ Feel free to ask questions here!

????????????????????

➜ You won't know much about this event until the second post. But here are some things I will let you in on: it is a setting change event, it won't be heavily made up of logging (though there will be a catch all log for people who want to use it. maybe), and it will be k k k kawaii.

➜ Over the span of the 10th-14th, there will be six riddle posts put up on the network, all with screened comments. Your character will have to ICly answer the riddles in order to be able to participate in the event. You can, however, skip them until you know the concrete event details. You may answer these at any time during the event BUT the sooner you do, the sooner you can participate. Waiting will not hinder your participation but will enhance it in terms of how soon my slow ass responds to you so keep up!

➜ The riddles should be answered ICly. They will range in difficulty from very easy to maybe a bit more complex. They will all be google-able just so you aren't floundering (though they shouldn't be so hard that you're completely lost) but these are riddles for your characters. Not for you. So if your dumb character wouldn't get it then make that your answer, even if you do.

➜ There is of course some leniency. You won't have any fun with the event if you don't answer at least one so even if they can't answer any of them for some reason, throw yourself a bone.

➜ See you on the 10th!

➜ Also, since Landtrash is now out and about, expect him to be doing things like this more often!

SOMETHING SEEMS FAMILIAR

➜ I've been waiting for this shit for a year and a half.

And this is late because I had to bake a cake. Oops. It was delicious if that makes you feel better.

➜ Thanks to our lovely Bea and her lovely Quistis, there is a new location in Holly Heights. Much like it says on the tin, the training center (added to the post but the thread is linked for ease of access) is a sort of gateway into another, possibly unfamiliar world that allows you to hone your skills. There are various floors with various terrains and areas to maneuver around. One might be very forest lake, complete with mosses, animals, and caves. Another might be very mountainous. The size is very misleading considering the building size but is still contained to a reasonable mock size.

Well, the Landlord has decided to take that and fuck with it a little. A lot.

➜ On the 15th, groups will be entered into the Training Center, numbers ranging from four to eight. On the first day, everything will be very like the Training Center as it's displayed on the tin.

The next day, that will definitely change.

➜ In varying stages and days, teams will experience various types of worlds and universes. Much like how, if you remember, Holly Heights became an island with island attributes for a summer, that will happen in these varying floors. The abnormality is that a few days or stages may be something that some here are familiar with.

➜ During some stages, the world may be a generic world (ie a mer-world under the sea with no really canon or universe attachment) while one day might be a very specific world/universe (ie Pokemon, take some hints from these parenthesis...es??).

➜ While these things may seem fine and dandy to just explore for no reason, each day/stage will have a corresponding mission. For example, one stage may require you to locate an item or defeat a certain amount of enemies. It is very dependent on the world/universe that teams enter.

➜ The long and short of the mechanics is teams will enter on the 15th at 9AM and exit at 9PM the same day. They will be given their mission to them at the start and will have the time allotted to complete it (and be told as such). At both 9AM and 9PM it will almost be as if they're been given anesthetic and will show up unawares of how they got there or how they got back home at the end of the day. In the event that they complete the mission, they will receive a letter. This will be their reward.

➜ Each team will have a possibly different and varied mission, terrain type, but never a different world. In the example of Merpeople, one team might be asked to find a variety of pearls in a coral reef type setting. Another team might be asked to destroy a variety of water monsters in a marshy setting. Get it? Each team will have their own floor so there will be no teams that encroach upon each other (unless a mission states otherwise).

➜ A log will be put up on the 15th with starter threads for each day with universe information. To create a team and stay informed about your teams various missions and, one person must put up a starter thread on this post with the teams designated name (to later be ICly decided) and teammates may comment to it at a pace that they wish. Every day, I will post your specific mission information. Each starter thread will be posted at ~9AM (times negotiable since sometime shit happens) and the mission details should be given a bit after those go up. If your team comes in late (as in the initial starter comment), I'll give you as much information as you've missed grouped together and we'll go from there. Also, everyone will receive a copy of the reward letter in their mission comment so no one misses out on any game information, even if their team fails to complete the mission. Whether they do or not is up to you all and your planning plotting skills.

➜ Three random teams will have threads made by me; feel free to add or remove your characters at will.

➜ For the first day, you can plan for one of the already in place terrains and monsters to be part of the mission involved. After that, you'll find out as the missions and starts arrive. This event will use your character and detail creating skills, so feel free to be creative where you can be.

➜ Questions can be asked here; I likely made something confusing or left something out since I'm rushing.

AND THE COOKIE CRUMBLES

➜ So. Time to see the damage done, shall we?

➜ CHOCOLATE CHIP: If you gave these you will get the reward. If you received them you will get the punishment.
giver reward: MONETARY RECEIPT OF $5000

recipient punishment: GROSS FOOD ( character can only eat a selected food for the rest of the day. all other food around them will magically become this food and magically change again after being changed. food to choose from: squid, asparagus, dog biscuits, kale, cottage cheese, pickle juice cans. if being fed, the food will change in your mouth.)

for multiple cookies given/received: $5k x # of cookies || multiple food choices at random between them, up to six

➜ SUGAR: If you gave these you will get the reward. If you received them you will get the punishment.
giver reward: FAMILY/DATE NIGHT GIFT (a package of gourmet food, prepared, plus other amenities such as candles, tablecloth, other items that are up to your creativity. can be geared towards family/friendship/romance)

recipient punishment: CONSTANT ILLNESS (can be your choice ie chicken pox, stomach flu, etc)

for multiple cookies given/received: food and amenities sent on days x cookies || multiple illnesses at once

➜ OATMEAL RAISIN: If you gave these you will get the reward. If you received them you will get the punishment.
    giver reward: SPECIAL REGAIN COUPON

recipient punishment: CHAIN GANG ( invisibly connected to the person for the rest of the event, cannot leave their side for a radius of three feet. )

for multiple cookies given/received: multiple coupons || switching people on different days

➜ WHITE CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA: If you received these you will get the reward. If you gave them you will get the punishment.
recipient reward: ANIMAL COMPANION (a more innocent reward, an animal companion of your choices will follow and be with you for the whole rest of the month)

giver punishment: MEMORY LOSS (one memory, your choice, also game or canon memories applicable)

for multiple cookies given/received: multiple animals || multiple memories lost

➜ PEANUT BUTTER: If you received these you will get the reward. If you gave them you will get the punishment.
recipient reward: COUPON FOR LANDLORD MEETING ( ONE DAY ) (promise of an in person meeting. when and where isn't specified.)

INVISIBILITY (none of that sciency stuff about invisibility blindness. you're basically just non-visible)

for multiple cookies given/received: multiple coupons || you've lucked out! there is no express worsening to this one.

➜ FROSTED COOKIES: If you received these you will get the reward. If you gave them you will get the punishment.
recipient reward: WISH FULFILLMENT (any wish will be granted, oocly negotiated. being crazy is fine but too crazy...ehhhhh)

    giver punishment: SENSORY LOSS

for multiple cookies given/received: multiple wishes || a sense lost for each cookie, up to five

➜ These WILL overlap. So in the instance you gave our a frosted cookie and received a sugar and an oatmeal, you'd be invisibly tethered to the oatmeal giver while blind with pneumonia, for example.

➜ For those that didn't give out cookies but received them thus making them incapacitated, the recipient punishments will apply during the incapacitation if applicable AND after the incapacitation has passed. So if you received a chocolate chip and an oatmeal raisin then you'd basically be a "dead" body floating around after a person and once you're "back to life" then that will still be in effect PLUS your food is nasty. Wonderful, no?

➜ Now if you're the type who gave out MORE THAN HALF OF THEIR COOKIES (4+) I have a gift for you: you have the option to negate their cookies to the amount of three (four can negate one, five can negate two, six can negate three) meaning you would not get the punishment or the reward affiliated with the cookie BUT the other person would if it is THEIR choice to keep said cookie and they are applicable. If you gave out three-to-one cookie(s), then you're out of luck. If this is confusing, go to the situation explanation thread to give you some clarity. Also, this is so your character isn't overwhelmed without your true consent aka being a food-changing, sick, tethered, confused, invisible, deaf person while having to deal with meeting the landlord, an animal, regaining things, having dinner, and spending cash. You catch my drift?

➜ If you received more than half of the types of cookies the same applies to you. If you received four types, you can negate one type you received all together. This is really just so too much isn't happening to your character all at once if you would rather that not be a thing you need to deal with. But if you want your character to be a richer, vomiting, blind mess then I guess that's fine too.

➜ Speaking of which, I've tried to be conscious of how these may interact together and such, but if you have questions about how your punishments and rewards may coexist with each other feel free to ask in the aforementioned thread and we can figure something out.

➜ Remember, these will last until September! All prizes about items/coupons will be sent to your house directly. Ask any additional questions here!

➜ And also, the next month's event will also be more plot oriented and those will be happening with more frequency. TTFN.

AND THE COOKIE CRUMBLES

➜ This will be a punishment/reward event. Meaning that you can be punished and rewarded based on what you do. Well, not can. Will. It's kind of unavoidable this time, really.

➜ On the 14th at noon, everyone (who wishes to participate) will receive a metal tin with six different gourmet cookies. Inside will also be a letter which they should probably read before eating. If you're smart and not a pig, you will, and this is what it will basically contain.

➜ Instead of eating these, you are supposed to give these out to friends, family, or strangers. If you give these out to strangers and receive some for yourself, there is a guarantee that you will definitely be rewarded with a great prize!

➜ Of the cookies in the tin there are six types: chocolate chip cookie, sugar, oatmeal raisin, white chocolate macadamia nut, peanut butter, and frosted, one of each. They are to give out at least one cookie each if they don't want to be severely punished.

This is what your character will know, but I'll give you a bit more details for your own sake.

➜ For each cookie, a different punishment and reward applies. One will go to the recipient and one will go to the giver. Three cookies offer a pay out of giving the recipient a gift and punishing the giver and the other three do the opposite: punishing the cookie-getter and rewarding the giver. The cookies that do so are as follows:
    giver reward | recipient punishment
    chocolate chip
    sugar
    oatmeal raisin

    recipient reward | giver punishment
    white chocolate macadamia nut
    peanut butter
    frosted cookies

This is so you have a better grasp on what cookies you'd like to give to who for plotting.

➜ The other thing is that neither you nor your characters will know what the punishments and gifts are until after the event when they will be revealed to you and take effect and will last throughout the rest of the month. To those that give out even one cookie the Landlord will give them a gift for being obedient. For those who wish to partake in the event but do not give out any cookies or eat any cookies themselves, the Landlord will bestow three day incapacitation after the event ends. Their bodies will be left in their homes and they will be entirely lifeless like they are dead. Rest in peace, whomever you are, you dingus...

➜ Also, each cookie offers a different punishment and reward so there will be six unique punishments and six unique rewards. They will have various levels of severity (for example it can range from being worth $1 to being worth $10000 and the punishments can be as bad on a scale from stubbing your toe to getting stabbed in the chest. But that's just a scale example; no punishments will involve death or torture, promise!)

IMPORTANT Now, I can see the questions coming already. What if my character doesn't eat the cookie? What if they give a cookie they themselves have been given? To the first question, eating it isn't what counts. Just coming in contact does! Declining the gift won't result in a punishment, and also won't result in a reward and that goes both ways. It is still givable to someone else, though! But as soon as the cookie is accepted (which can be as simple as just taking the cookie in your hand), the punishment/reward falls upon both parties. Giving that cookie to someone else will not count in either sense.

➜ In order to sign up, just reply to the post with a blank comment and your characters name and house number in the subject heading. As always, questions can be addressed in the question thread! A CR meme should go up shortly which also holds options for cookies.

After they're bid adieu either by force (gas) or by sleep, all party members will have arrived at home today. Anything they decided to steal from (which would be held in the default team room since that detail was left out) will either be on their porch or in their mailbox.

Any other questions can be addressed here or in the question thread on the event info post!

Also reserves open on the 25th (12 AM CST as per usual), so gear yourselves up for reserving. Also for ATP which will be on the 26th.
