pearl is an 8-year-old spirit medium in-training from a small, isolated village in the mountains of japanifornia. she's never been outside the village, doesn't know what a computer is, and has only seen a handful of strangers in her lifetime (and probably only like 1 or 2 people who were not women). she also has a tendency to ship people, so what better place to be in for that other than holly heights? she'll be in house 1416 with germany and count d, and i can't wait to get threading!

Just a note that Ryuko's been updated to the same point as Satsuki (ie, postseries/OVA). She'll be over her temporary edgy phase and back to being the same stupid rude jerk she was before, only slightly less rude. Still plenty stupid, though.

Hello friends! my name is dai and I'm gonna hop on this volleyball train too! this is my first character in this game despite how I've been eyeing it for maybe eight hundred years womp. for anyone who has watched haikyuu!! he's a character that shows up later in the manga during a training camp! honestly, he's just a giant child, but he also happens to be pretty awesome at the whole volley thing.

he'll be in 1493 with hinata! frat volley house HOLLA! he's also best friends with kuroo so prepare yourselves for that duo because it's going to be......a little terrifying.

Hey, everyone! I'm Al, here to add to the onslaught of sports characters, though this one would rather play video games than volleyball...

This is Kozume Kenma, a setter for the cat school, who's pretty apathetic and indifferent to most things, doesn't like getting tired, and has a hard time making friends so he stays on the outside and observes most of the time. The only things that seem to make him excited are video games and one Hinata Shouyou.

He'll be coming in without his PSP, though, and with the number of other volleyball players here he'll need help escaping practices please and thank you-

Hello everyone! I'm Jensen! I used to play he a little while ago and I return again, though with someone completely new this time.

I'm bringing in Lily Bakserville from Pandora Hearts. She is small, cute, and has killed people when ordered! She might look young, she kind of is, but after being stuck in the Abyss for 100 years she went from 12 to 112, though she stayed emotionally at 12 since it maybe felt like she was there for a few weeks or so! She also has a very large red tattoo on her face, that's called the mark of the devil. It has a lovely story with it as well!

She will be really confused to the technology in Hollyheights and she has been placed in the house 1405 as a parent. Which looking at the list means that Oikawa will be her child, she will be more than unsure about this since why would she have kids suddenly!?

I normally don't post to the OOC comm with these, but my OOC availability will be affected by this as well as IC, so I wanted to make a note. I've had to call a really unexpected hiatus for the next couple of weeks due to RL obligations. Lately, I've been experiencing some health problems that have made RP and academics hard to juggle; you may have noticed a slowdown on my tags. I'm sorry for letting myself get overwhelmed.

Today I received some bad news about a project of mine, and honestly that was kind of the final straw. I need to dedicate the majority of my time to that/

I put in a canon update for Satsuki before I learned this, so hopefully by the time I get back she will be her delightful and bushy-eyebrowed end of series self.

hello hh!! the results of the prom theme polls are in, and the winner is STARRY NIGHT (Not The Van Gogh Painting), BY A LANDSLIDE!!! woohoo!!!!!! this is my working title, please feel free to suggest a better, actual ic one in the comments.

moving right along, in this post we will need nominations for prom king & queen! you know, the to die for It power couple that lobbies like hell for votez, go up on stage, get a crown and a scepter, wave it around and smile, possibly have pig's blood spilled on them, etc. either gender can be recommended for king or queen of course, and the only stipulation is that they must be a high school student. AND BONUS, we're also doing a second place, prom prince and princess!! you won't need to nominate anyone for those; all second placers will win that automatically. everyone's a champ!

i'm also going to include a thread for any other plotting or ic volunteers, including any adult faculty who want to help out. in 2 weeksish, nominations will close and voting will start up until the day before prom, which is, again: may 1!

Here are the jobs that will be available during the job round of MARCH - APRIL. This time, around though, this will go a little differently. ➜ Currently there are a lot of unused businesses on the locations post. At the end of this round of jobs (April 20th), the locations are going to be gone...unless someone takes them over. ➜ It's your opportunity to take over an abandoned business! This is actually doable all the time but this has a little more incentive. For taking over a job, your character will also receive a receipt for $1000. Of course, they won't receive it until their notification saying they're a new business owner comes in. ➜ The applicable jobs are those that have no one listed. ➜ In this particular event, players will have to come up with five unlucky things and five lucky things for their characters to experience. These can be either permanent (for the event) or only last a certain amount of time. For example, a lucky occurrence could be "Makishima finds five dollars on the ground everywhere he goes" and an unlucky event could be "Lily goes bald for three days".

➜ What's the point of this creativity? On specific days throughout the event, a roulette wheel of chance will spin and characters will have to experience these events in game. The specific days for these events will be the 14th, the 17th, the 19th, the 22nd, and the 25th.

➜ If you don't get the gist, here's a good example that shows what will happen:

Let's say that Makoto has five unlucky and five lucky events associated with him and they are written in a sign up comment. On the 14th, the comment will be replied to with a determination of whether this is a lucky day or an unlucky day for him, meaning one of the events will be triggered. Here are some examples from this hypothetical list:

UNLUCKY
14th: Breaks a bone
17th: A friend becomes mad at him for a few days

LUCKY
14th: Someone he likes kisses him
17th: He is gifted with a pie

On the 14th, the comment will read something like "Congrats! Today's your lucky day! You'll be kissed by someone you like." Today has been a lucky day for Makoto. This event can happen ANYTIME during the event itself.

On the 17th, Makoto will then experience an unlucky day; "Oops. Looks like your luck isn't that great. You'll make a friend angry somehow." Hopefully the specific example helps you understand the event a little better.

➜ For those who can't come up with a concrete set of pratfalls and highs, you can also help make some general wacky scenarios of your own. Go to this comment and contribute some unlucky events and some lucky ones that can be randomized for those who can't come up with anything or would rather see their characters go through something a little more spotty. If you aren't comfortable or can't work with the event that you were given, simply ignore it. Try to be malleable, though.

➜ The events that you choose CAN be specific to certain characters, both in your own sign ups and in the event creation thread, but only with player permission. For instance, you can't go and put "Nagisa blows you" in the event creation comment section unless that player says yes, Nagisa is a sex freak and would gladly blow anybody. Just as an example.

➜ Signing up requires filling out a form and commenting in TWO places.

First: comment here with only your name in the subject line and the comment blank. This is where mods will tell you about your fortune for the day. This is so you can edit your event comments freely. Do NOT forget to make a response comment or you cannot participate.

Second: comment to this thread with the following form. You don't have to come up with all events immediately, but you SHOULD get them in as the days pass. Your 14th events should be in your comment before the 14th gets here (CST).

Hello guys, Iyo here and unfortunately RL has been giving me a struggle in the creative portion of my free time and I am in need of a break from RPing. It's such a huge bummer for me since I had just gotten Nasubi to start slowly branching out after being so quiet for a while, but I'd hate to keep people waiting on me to get anything fun done.

Nasubi has left a few arts and crafts for people he got to know and talk to before returning back home to Hell. Thanks so much for letting this little guy be around in this game, and hopefully see you around! <3

hello again! linlin (onoda/oikawa-mun) here with character number three daiki aomine from kuroko no basuke aka that one basketball anime about kids who have colorful names (and hair to match as well).

for those who don't know, aomine is one lazy asshole with a heart of gold. his favorite pastimes include sleeping on school roofs, collecting gravure magazines, and playing basketball. he is literally a basketball junkie when... he... you know, gives a hoot about the sport that is. (it's complicated). anyway! he's from chapter 270, which is towards the end of kuroko no basuke. though i doubt he'd talk about the outcome of the winter cup so you don't have to worry about any spoilers coming from him.

as far as game stuff goes he'll be staying in #1459!

Hi, Holly Heights! This is Lady, player of Lily Ivory (vintage_magic), and I’m bringing in a second character, Count D from Petshop of Horrors!



For those not familiar with the series, he’s a mysterious Chinese shopkeeper with the ability to understand the speech of animals and has a Chinatown shop full of rare and exotic animals that can take on human forms.

Calm and soft-spoken, he normally dresses in Chinese robes and is often mistaken for a woman in canon due to his beauty. (And will get offended if you call his robe a “dress” like a certain American detective.) He can be quite charming but if he ever offers to sell you a pet with a three-clause contract, you should probably run away! Contracts with him tend to…not end well. And he can be kind of creepy and hides a lot behind that charming smile.

But the easy way to get on his good side is to give him sweets. He loves sugary things as much as animals!

He’ll be living in 1416 with Germany and Snow White. And will contribute to filling the house with sweets and animals. At least, they won’t be man-eating rabbits and three-headed dragons here!

Oh, and a note about his icons… His hair is meant to be black (it’s stated in the text and his hair is black in the anime) but the artist is in the habit of coloring it all different shades in artbook pictures. So please assume it's black despite the icons!
