Hello! This is Hotaru, with a teenage guy from 1935! His name is Eduard Markgraf von Sekt Braunschweig (why does some people have such long names..) but he'll tell you that you can just call him Ed! He comes from the anime version (I wish there were any gifs but the ones there is are mainly with the resident Rapunzel) of a franchise called Meine Liebe and he's from a fictional European country called Kuchen.

Ed is the illegitimate son of a nobleman. After his mother died, him and his younger half sister were taken in by his father, but because of his stepmother, his sister was sent away and he has not seen her since he was young. His stepmother has also tried to have him killed a couple times, but he has easily forgiven her for it. Because he's really forgiving and nice and cheerful and friendly. He's also a bit more rough-and-tumble than his friends, since he didn't grow up raised as an aristocrat right from the start.

He's a member of the equestrian club at his school but he also participates in any other sport that he comes across and he also plays the piano and sings. He wants to be able to travel the whole world when he graduates, instead of being a politician which is sort of what he's expected to become. Being an adventurer would be much more fun, right? Either way, I can assure you that he'll check out every single sports club and the idol groups activites. And please teach him about everything he knows nothing about (like every future thing ever) because he'll love to learn.

HELLO, it is I, gideon, joining the volleyball horde... I also am part of BASEBALL SQUAD (with nori over in house 1444) but now I'm bringing in takeda for your further sports-ish enjoyment. for those of you who don't know him, he's karasuno's faculty advisor and he's doing his best!! he starts off not really knowing jack about volleyball but picks it up via textbooks and watching practice/matches (and people explain things to him a lot), and he is also most definitely on the Easily Excited side of things, which I guess is about par for the course with that team??

i renamed miyuki's account this morning and figured i should probably say something about it publicly! the old username forwards so any old links work, but tags'll be coming from pickoffs instead of pitchcalling now. otherwise he's as awful as usual, nothing has changed 8)

Anyway, this is perfect wife Masato Hijirikawa from Utapri: Maji But What Tho 2000%. He's the H in STARISH, the peaceful pianist who is probably secretly an old man with emotions like waterfalls and a slight obsession with melon bread. He's the quieter one of the No Fun Brigade and getting too close to girls is a crippling fear. In short, he's really just a loser.

He's in a spouse spot in 1435.

As for me I'm Sunny (Tadokoro / Asahi) and y'all know me. I'm on a hiatus for the month but I'll still introduce this dork.

i'm sleepy idk what to put here

Hello friends this is Daisy with a magical anomaly in my lineup of dudes: a GIRL.

This is Maya Kaburagi from a little obscure manga series called Hokenshitsu no Shinigami. She's a reformed tomboy that tries really really really hard to be girly!!! But she's not always good at it. Emphasized by the fact that she prefers people to call her "Shinya" which is more of a boy's name. However she's very cute and caring and actually happens to be good at basically any sport (now everything makes sense) but tends to refuse to take part in athletics because she has an old reputation of accidentally beating up people... not that anyone should know about that.

So please make friends with my sweet child. (*´∀`*) She's in house 1435 with a jellyfish, a big volley and some loser idol.

Oh boy! After a year+ long absence, Iceland is back.

Anyway! Hello! For those who don't know me, I'm Kelsey. I played Iceland here previously for over two years, and he's coming back with his memories of that stay. So at least we can skip the confused introductions on his part. And for those unfamiliar to his character: he's an awkward teenager with temper issues, but I promise he is actually a good guy. He's just shy and weird.

EVENT ➜ BALL COURT UPDATE

Here's a quick timeline of the ball court update schedule. Sorry about being gone again; I haven't been able to do much between health issue and gulf storms + Patricia killing my connection!

➜You'll have until 11:59 PM CST tonight to post to the nominations. After all nominations have been posted, or when I get up tomorrow, I will randomize the nominees in a list format. The top 3 on each list will be eligible for Ball Court finals, aka what characters will vote on come the actual event.

➜Tomorrow a poll with the eligible candidates will be put up by either Sonia or Kitty on one of their character journals because polls require a paid for some stupid ass reason. While polling details will be included on the post copy I give them, remember that voting is IC. You can vote once per character journal you have in game.

➜The poll will close noon on Halloween. Whomever is winning in those categories at that time will be the official winners during the IC event.

ACTIVITY CHECK ➜ OCTOBER

Activity Check will run through the last week of October. Activity can be from September 24th through October 31st. Please use activity posted before this week unless you are stretched and must use a proof from reserve week.

SOME NOTES ON AC
Here are a couple of not so crystal clear rules about what is and is not activity. It's never been strictly laid out like this before since it seems a little obvious, but just in case, here's what does and doesn't qualify for AC / tag count starting this AC:

➜ If you used a thread or post in a previous AC you may not use that thread/post again. In short terms, if I've seen it before, I do not want to see it again. Even if you tagged a post 100 more times, I want to see new proofs of activity. Not an old one with new stuff added on.

➜ With open logs, you may use more than one thread from the same log but they must have different characters in them. For example, from our recent island log, you may use an Island 08 thread and an Island 12 thread to make or combine for AC, but if in both threads you're threading with the same character, you can only choose one.

➜ Do not alter the form you are given to post AC with. This makes it so much easier for me to go through and for others/yourself if you need to reference them.

➜ Forms now have a place for a comment count. Please do not leave these off. Please use these to do the math for yourself. If you have a comment count of 3 and a comment count of 4 for post threads, these do not add up to 10 thus they do not count.

➜ Finally, and this is newly decided, comment spams will only count for one comment. This is an example of what I mean. Kanata would only have one comment AC wise here even though he made five different comments.

Please provide one (1) proof of activity in one the following forms:

➜ A post either on the network or the log community. A post counts if you have put it up and replied to comments on it as of when you post it. Please do not use a post with no replies from you as proof.

➜ Network post comments equaling to 10. It can be a thread with 10 comments from you, three threads with 3+3+4 comments from you. Enough to equal 10.

➜ Log post comments equaling to 5. It can be a thread with 5 comments from you, two threads with 3+2 comments from you, etc. Enough to equal 5.

➜ Mailbox post comments equaling to 15. It can be a thread with 15 comments from you, two threads with 9+6 comments from you, etc. Enough to equal 15.

You are exempt from the activity check if you:

➜ Posted any hiatus during September 24th through October 31st that lasted a week or more. There isn't a need to comment here if so, but if you'd like to pop in and say something OR if you have enough to post to AC anyway, feel free. Also, if you discuss a hiatus with me personally, it always helps to post it somewhere anyways just so I don't overlook it.

➜ Post with a strike. Simply reply with the form but instead of dates and links, put STRIKE. This is for those that wish to continue playing but don't have enough activity to make it this month. If you ask for a strike the next month, you will be removed from the game. If you make AC the next month, then your strike will be negated. If you take a strike and then hiatus the next month, your strike will roll over with you whenever you are next active.

Please do not post AC for others without their express permission. If someone would like to idle out by not responding to the AC, then that is their own business, and not the place of others to show activity for them.

Do not post activity until it is complete. You have a week to complete activity, so don't dilly dally! Please fill out the following form for each character you have. Feel free to put multiple characters in one comment. You have until the beginning of the new month to post, then you will be removed from the game. There will be no exceptions.

NEW Because the game is not as big as it used to be and has slowed down in speed and character turnover, we'll be doing an AC for a while that only requires one proof. Based on the ability to complete this and if the game's temperature changes, this may be edited but for now it will remain one proof of AC for everyone. This goes for everyone.

Edgeworth's very much extended vacation is now over

...which is another way of saying that he's run his course, he's been around for 2+ years, and now I think it's time for him to go. I got sick and battled the dreaded midterms this week and thought about this because I've been waffling about it for a while, and now that I'm both better and midterm-free (FOR NOW), I feel a lot more certain about dropping Edgeworth. I was eager to get back into RP but...there was no drive to finally do things with Edgeworth here anymore.

I'm so glad for all the threads, all the wonderful CR I've had, and all the crazy shenanigans and events. Thanks so much for making my stay a really amazing one, in more ways than one. I didn't expect to hang around this long at an SOL game but you guys made me stay...for a long, long time.

ACTUALLY I'm still staying HAHAHA...I'm only dropping Edgeworth, but Hisami (

hisa) will still be around. But seriously, I've had fun with my stuffy lawyerly responsible adult. Thanks, everyone. <3 I'm always open for CR with nerdy introvert number two, Hisami "Too Moe for This World, Too Pure" Hishiishii.

hello!!

there's two mini-player plots i'm happy to announce... they in no way affect the game, but they're fun for interacting and snatching cr with different/new characters! so if this sounds like something you would be interested in, step right up and drop me a comment here so i can set you up and keep you informed.

1) we have the mixer and/or group date with teens 15 to 20 years of age. it's not strictly for getting a DATE, but to just meet people and make friends. ~~the only one who should come out with a date is mochi. do your best mochi! stay determined!!~~ this group date will evolve into... a drunk fest towards its later stages. your character doesn't need to be in the group date to join the Teenagers Accidentally Drinking Too Much bit, but give me a heads up if your character will be involved! this will happen october 16, this friday! :0 unless something comes up and i'm unable to get to it.

2) i'm running a bit of a ... anything-goes thing, in which makoto is giving his "students" homework for p.e. class LOL WHAT MONSTER and people are getting put together into groups of 2-3 to work with. it's not something that should be strictly perfect or planned for tbh, crappy results are definitely encouraged, because the point here is to have some hilarious/fun interactions between characters. i've picked out groups already based on who has commented on the p.e. log from last (??) week, but if your character hasn't received a message from makoto, and they would definitely be down for something like this, please let me know here so i can put you into a group! the homework will have a deadline for november so we've got time.

+1 (no longer) psychic child

Hello all, my name's Abby and I'm new. I'm here with this adorable precocious dumpling named Rin Kobayashi, from late 80s early 90s manga series and OAV Please Save My Earth.

I mean, he was kind of a precocious dumpling, that is, until he got the memories of an adult super-powerful alien psychic war orphan and fell off the deep end.

Rin has been hospitalized for the last few weeks after a failed attempt to kill two adults and one teenager with his crazy psychic powers. He kept teleporting around and reopening his wounds, which I guess won't be a problem now, but hey, who wants to find a bleeding child in a hospital gown on the front lawn of 1475? He definitely needs someone to take care of him and possibly get him to a clinic. Maybe his dad, Other Rin? Sister? I'm open to anyone, really.

He's fresh from running away from the hospital after his mother screamed at him that he wasn't her son anymore. (Mothers always know.) His wounds are bad, in canon, but here they should be all right. He should still go to the hospital, and is still probably bleeding.

He's pretty good at pretending he's normal, but it's gonna hit him hard that he doesn't have psychic powers anymore. Poor baby. (hee hee hee) Also, add another Rin to the Rin tally.

Hey there Holly Heights! It's me, Frika! You might know from from playing a couple of sports nerds (Aone and Naruko) and a couple of gay nerds (Ratio and Killua). Well, I decided that I needed a CUTE GIRL on my roster, so here she is!

This is Rinko Yamato from Ore Monogatari!! and she is nothing but shoujo cuteness in a tiny, tiny body. She is really fond of baking, especially for people she cares about, and she is a super friendly person, so I'm hoping she'll make lots and lots of friends here! Heeeello, Holly Heights. Snow (coachdad Ukai) here with a new character! This is Souma Yukihira from Shokugeki no Soma! He's a teenage chef that could give Iron Chef Bobby Flay the sweats, and he's coming to you after the end of a big ol' competition he tied for second place in (which was the end of the first season of the anime). But he's not gonna let that bring him down, and he's come to feed everyone from the kitchen of #1493! Seriously, let him make you food.

I'm picking back up on all my tags and plotting this month, since last month just did not agree with me, so if you want to plot with Ukai or Souma I am so prepared for it. I'm also very sorry to everyone looking forward to Chris this round, but watch this space next month once I've got my feet under me again and can write an app that does him justice.

another +1 bird hero

Hello Holly Heights! This is Iyo (playing that ex-delinquent Kuramochi from that baseball cast full of rude kids) bringing in her second muse, Joe Hibiki from Gatchaman Crowds! He~~'s voiced by Daisuke Namikawa~~ puts off an aloof and cold demeanor most of the time, but he's a pretty passionate guy deep inside his heart. He actually takes on two different appearances, where when he's out of work mode he looks like above, but when he is, he looks like this:

He's pretty much Sugane's boyfriend and likes to tease Sugane a lot. A whole lot.

Joe's taken from the end of Insight! There may be some spoilers in backstory stuff, but I will do my best to avoid any spoilers, for those who are planning to watch it (you should totally watch it).

He's going to be living at House #1475!

...Also! Kuramochi has been canon updated! No age, no personality changes, but he's now a third year due to the canon point... 8)
